MEMORIALS & DONATIONS The March school collection was $2,148.00. We have received a donation to the Angel Fund from Rich & Kim Fornicola. This donation will assist with the tuition of a student(s) attending our school. We have received an additional donation in memory of Lezetta Kutches from John & Becky Thomas. We have also received an additional donation to be used toward our music program in memory of Lezetta Kutches from the following persons: Barbara Gallo & Dan McGee. At this time of year, we begin to plan and budget for next school year, as well as look for ways to help some of our fami-lies with tuition payments. We’d be so grateful if you’d consider giving a donation to our school in honor or memory of a loved one. Another option is our Angel Fund. Money given to this fund can be donated anonymously and is used to assist with the tuition of families who are in need. The donor may desig-nate a particular student(s) or they may request that the school administration choose the recipient. Please consider contributing to this very worthwhile fund and help with the financial stability of St. John School. To make a donation, please call the school office. Thank you for any assistance that you can give to some very thankful families. Thank you to all of our benefactors and God bless your generosity to and support of our school. PRE-K REGISTRATION FOR 2018-2019 Please call Tina in the school office if you have not yet registered your child for Pre-K and have any questions about the process. Children must be three or four years old before September 1, 2018 to be eligible for the three-year-old and four-year-old Pre-K Program, respectively. Please be sure to bring birth certificate, immunization records and a $75 non-refundable fee with you to register. CELL PHONE RECYCLING Please consider donating your old cell phone(s) to St. John School to be recycled. Recycling your phone ensures the heavy metals and other components are disposed of properly, teaches our kids stewardship of the environment and benefits our school! Just drop any and all cell phones with batteries included in the collection bin over the registers in the rear of the Church. ************************************************************************ SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATIONS Registrations are being accepted for the diocesan summer camps, Camp Zacchaeus (Grades 4-9) and Camp Timothy (Grades 9-12 and newly graduating high school seniors). Both of these camps have been a true blessing for the young people of our diocese, as well as the adults who run them. Angel Fund scholarships are available to families who are eligible. There is a brief application that must be completed and signed by the family and the pastor for eligibility. These are fun, educational and spiritual camps. For more details about camping dates, locations, and guide-lines, please contact Francine Swope at the Diocesan Office of Youth Ministry at (814) 317-2646. The return of Easter should be to the Christian life, the call of a trumpet. It is the news of a great victory. It is the solution of a great perplexity. It is the assurance of a great triumph. __Frederick Temple
