CHURCH INTERIOR IS BEING REPAINTED The Painters have began painting the interior of the church this week. Please be aware that this will take about 6 weeks, and throughout the process, different parts of the worship space will be covered with scaffolding and sections may have to be “closed” to accommodate the project. Thank you for being patient during this process! ALL-DAY ADORATIONS POSTPONED Because of the painting activity, our Adorations will be postponed until after the painting is completed. MARCH FOR LIFE PILGRIMAGE FROM OLV FRIDAY, JANUARY 22ND is the Pro Life March in Washington, D.C. Our Lady of Victory Par ish will have a special Mass at 7:00 AM that morning. Buses will board from 7:30—8:00 AM at which time they will depart for D.C. After a restroom break, the buses will arrive around noon at the DC Mall Field Area For the Rally before the March for Life. The March will be held from Noon—3:30 PM There will be a stop to eat in Frederick, MD, before departing for home. Arrival back to OLV Church in State College should be between 11:00 PM and Midnight. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world…for when I was in pris-on you came to visit me.” Matt 25 34-36 Prison Christian Growth Group (PCGG) brings the love of Je-sus Christ into our Prisons across the Commonwealth of PA including SCI Benner and SCI Rockview. There is a tremen-dous need for a Catholic presence in these prisons. PCGG is reaching out to those who can share their walk and visit our prisoners. There is no requirement except your love and time. We visit Benner and Rockview on the first and second Saturdays of each month. CEMETERY MEMORIAL DONATION RECEIVED St. John’s recently received a generous gift from the estate of Robert Hyslop via his daughter , Mary Kowalski. The do-nation to be invested toward cemetery care is also in memory of the Shoemaker Family who have many members buried in St. John’s Cemetery. Thank you for remembering St. John’s Church through generations of devotion to our parish.

CHRISTMAS SERVICE PROJECT 2015 After the success of our fall partnership, St. John stu-dents asked that we again join with Empower Or-phans for our Christmas Service Project. Students chose to hold a toy drive for local families and col-lected many, many toys that were donated to local children.
