Fr. Keith’s KornerFr. Keith’s KornerFr. Keith’s KornerFr. Keith’s Korner We are preparing to produce a new parish

family Photo Directory this year, and we would really like every household to be included. Over 300 families have signed up for appointments already, and we have scheduled three more days this coming week. Please visit our website (www.saintdrexel.org) to make an appointment for this week. There is no obligation to purchase any photos, and in return you receive a free copy of the photo directory and a free 8x10 portrait. Your contributions to the poor box each week are genuinely appreciated by the Saint Vincent de Paul Society as they work with local residents who are in emergency situations with (among other things) rent or utility bills. Several recent special projects have also benefitted from your generosity, and I want to thank the families who participated in our Lenten Rice Bowl project and donated $750 to Catholic Relief Services. We are also grateful for the second collection last weekend which gathered almost $1700 to support our annual “Christmas in April” outreach project. Last weekend we hosted an interesting meeting of health care professionals to discuss how we might be more pro-active as a parish in encouraging good health and respect for our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit. One result was a commitment from our parish nurses to provide regular inserts in the bulletin on health issues. This weekend you see the first of these bulletin inserts. On Sunday night we will have our final TGIF Faith Formation session for the season, so I hope you try to attend the interesting presentation on “Miracles”. Please take notice of the bulletin information regarding the special Frederick County Budget Hearing on Wednesday night this week, and don’t forget to get your tickets for our Basket Bingo coming up on 11 May that benefits our Building Fund. Have a good week!
