Fr. Keith’s KornerFr. Keith’s KornerFr. Keith’s KornerFr. Keith’s Korner Each February, as part of the World Marriage

Day observance, Archbishop Lori celebrates Mass at the Cathedral in Baltimore and personally recognizes the longest married couple from each parish. We are currently looking for a couple who is married for at least 50 years for this special event. If you could represent our parish on 10 February in Baltimore, please call the parish office by Monday 21 January and let us know. If you need a ride that day, we will arrange it! The annual March for Life takes place each year in Washington DC in January, and there will be a bus leaving for the March from nearby St. Timothy Church (Walkersville) on Friday 25 January. You must reserve your seat on the bus ahead of time, so please call the number listed elsewhere in this bulletin to join this prayerful national witness to the value of human life. Although the warmer weather this past week has been beckoning people outdoors, months ago we planned a “Cabin Fever” Dance on Saturday 26 January. Who knows—it may be cold by then! The proceeds benefit our Building Fund, and tickets will be available for this low-key and relaxing evening this weekend and next. The annual nationwide observance of Catholic Schools Week will take place this year beginning on Sunday 27 January. Students from all of the local Catholic Schools are invited to participate in the various ministries at the 11:00 AM Mass that day. Please contact Barbara Miller ([email protected]) in order to offer your child as a special participant in this celebration. You may also sign up in the Gathering Space after any of the Masses next weekend. We are trending slightly better financially at this point in comparison to last year, so thank you for your generosity to your parish! Thanks also to so many of you for your kindness through cards and gifts at Christmas!
