THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT: DECEMBER 16, 2018 Today’s Reflection:
Preparemos Nuestro Corazon
nuestra realidad completa. Conjuguemos oración con
dialogo, alabanza con análisis, esperanza con compromiso
y nuestra responsabilidad común.

The Third Candle
3rd CANDLE – (pink) THE SHEPHERD CANDLE or THE CANDLE OF
JOY or Mary’s candle– The angels sang a message of JOY! “…
and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in
cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room
for them in the inn. And there were shepherds living out in the
fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of
the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone
around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them,
‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be
for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been
born for you who is Messiah and Lord.’

STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION 3rd Sunday of Advent “Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and peti-tion, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.”
(Phili 4:6) St. Paul reminds us that our God is an abundant God, the ulti-mate giver of gifts. He promises to give us all that we need. When we trust that God will take care of us, it is easier for us to live Stewardship by sharing what we have been given.
