COME TO ADORATION The best time you will spend on earth !
Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and rest. Mk 6:31
In the Garden of Gethsemane, before His crucifixion, Jesus asked His Apostles,
“ Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?”
Spending one hour with Jesus thus became a tradition in the Church.

Religious Formation Update
The mission of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church Religious Formation program is to join in with families to help build a foundation of faith, from which our families will experience a knowing and loving relationship with God. So, to aid in making His Son, Jesus Christ, the center of their lives in order to live out their Roman Catholic faith. A way to build a Catholic Culture is to encourage, A deep love and knowledge of the Faith by using a systematic catechesis which begins with the Word of God and helps the student use that Word to illumine their life experience.
Continuing Religious Formation for children grades Pre-K-8th grade. Learning about the fullness of the Roman Catholic Church does not end with the receiving of the Sacrament of Confirmation. In a more profound way, our faith begins to find a greater strength when we recognized the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Our desire to know more about our faith should grow to the point that our wanting to share our faith is unstoppable. All young parishioners are invited to join in learning more about their faith. Formation classes are held on Thursday Evening starting from 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Come, share, and learn the wonders of our beautiful church that Our Loving Lord has provide for you.
Youth in High School and 8th graders are you searching to know more about the Roman Catholic Church? Have you ever been question to defend your faith? What are some things about the Church that you would want to know more of? Sessions for your age group are being formed and will meet on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Library and end with a visit to the Adoration Chapel.
Registration for the upcoming Religion Classes will begin in June.
Breaking Open the Word for Children
To share the beautiful Word of our Loving Lord with our young parishioners’, sessions for Breaking Open the Word are held at the 9:00 a.m. Breaking Open the Word is when children from PreK- 5th grade are invited to join as a small community to go together to hear the Word of God from the Children Lectionary in order to grasp a greater understanding of the beautiful message that Jesus is asking of us to hear and act on in our lives. The children will return to Mass before the Liturgy of the Eucharist begins.
Seeking Volunteers to help expand the Breaking Open the Word for Children Sessions in Spanish and also for the 4:00 p.m. Mass. A request for breaking Open the Word for the children who attend the other Parish Masses has been made. The request is not able to be met without help from adults who attend these Liturgies. Please contact Cary Ann Nunn @ 928-753-3359 ext. 214 or [email protected] if you are interested at least 3 adults are needed for each Liturgy.
To find out more about any of the St. Mary’s Formation Ministry sessions, please contact Cary Ann Nunn, at 928-753-3359 or [email protected] .
