In the first comparison Jesus uses, a man discovers a treasure that was so valuable that he “sold all he had and bought the field.” In the second comparison a pearl mechant discovers a pearl worth more than all his other possessions. Common to both stories is the marvel of discovering such a prize and giving everything to gain possession of it. The point of both parables is that gaining the treasure of God’s saving love is worth any sacrifice. -Archdiocese of Baltimore St. Joseph Catholic Community Sykesville, Maryland PERFUME & SCENT ALERT! Thank you!!

St. Patrick's would like to thank both Bruno Tassone and his son Chris Tassone for the volunteer work they did in patching up the holes in the parking lot. There were 10 holes altogether. Hopefully the asphalt will last for a while.

Thank you!!

For those of you that have come to Mass on the weekend, you might have been aware that we only have

two singers and one musician allowed because they have to be standing 10 to 12 feet apart. During this

Covid crisis, we will not be using the organ. We always had plans of moving the organ behind the choir,

because the choir is visually blocked from the Lord's Table. St. Patrick's would like to thank Brandon

Vocaturo, who is an electrician, for safely disconnecting the organ at no cost to the church. We also

would like to thank Larry Spencer from Spencer Furniture for allowing us to use his men to move the

organ at no cost to the church.

Once the Covid crisis is over and we can resume to having a full choir, we will reconnect the organ and

make some changes in the choir area for seating arrangements etc.

Thank You: To the Implementation Team, Ministry Leads and all ministers and volunteers who have contributed to our re-opening of community celebration of Mass. To all who were hands-on, and all who held us in prayer – much appreciation. We respond to our Baptismal call in our service and ministry to one another . . . to all the people of our one God.

God is good – all the time. Blessings, Father Pat
