St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church | Tullahoma, Tennessee LENTEN CONFESSION SCHEDULE Thu Mar 19 @ 12 Noon | St. Paul, Tullahoma (Fr. Klasek and Fr. George will hear confessions) Thu Mar 26 @ 6PM | St. Anthony, Fayetteville CHANGE Lent is all about change and change is usually not easy. In order to change we have to leave something behind. Today we hear about a very old man who decides to answer Gods call. Abram experiences a tremendous amount of change when he leaves everything behind, risking it all for Gods promise. Jesus changes, is transfigured, right before the eyes of his disciples. The Lenten scriptures issue the call for us to change, to be transfigured, so that we, too, will soon share in the glory of God. What is it that the Lord is asking us to leave behind? Are we willing to take the risk for the promise made by God? These questions are at the heart of the Lenten journey of conversion. Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co. Bishop Spalding’s Prayer in the Aftermath of the Tornado

Loving God, be with all those who are suffering in the aftermath

of this violent storm. Grant peace to those who have died and

comfort and strength to those who grieve them. May those

who have suffered damages or lost homes and possessions

find support in our brothers and sisters in Christ and

consolation in the knowledge of your presence. Guard and

guide first responders and aid workers, protect those who are

most vulnerable, and keep us all safe in your unending love.

We ask this through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, whom

even the winds and the sea obey. Amen.

Volunteers, either individuals or organizations who want to help

should go to the website for

Hands On Nashville www.hon.org to register.

If you would like to make a donation to support recovery efforts

of Catholic Charities of Tennessee, go to their tornado relief

donation page http://bit.ly/CCTNTornadoRelief. You may

also mail a donation to Catholic Charities of TN, ATTN:

Tornado Relief, 2806 McGavock Pike, Nashville, TN

37214. All donations received will be used to provide

services, goods, and other support to Tornado survivors.
