Ageless Worship The Prelude O When the Saints Go Marching In
Opening Hymn I sing a song of the saints of God Hymn 293
I sing a song of the saints of God, patient and brave and true, who toiled and fought and lived and died for the Lord they loved and knew. And one was a doctor, and one was a queen, and one was a shepherdess on the green: they were all of them saints of God, and I mean, God helping, to be one too.
They loved their God so dear, so dear, and God’s love made them strong; and they followed the right, for Jesus’ sake, the whole of their good lives long. And one was a soldier, and one was a priest, and one was slain by a fierce wild beast: and there’s not any reason, no, not the least, why I shouldn’t be one too.
They lived not only in ages past; there are hundreds of thousands still; the world is bright with the joyous saints who love to do Jesus’ will. You can meet them in school, or in lanes, or at sea, in church, or in trains, or in shops, or at tea; for the saints of God are just folk like me, and I mean to be one too.
Opening Prayers
This is the day the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Almighty God, to you all hearts are open, all desires known, and from you no secrets are hid: Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy Name; through Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Prayer of the Day God of Heaven and Earth, you bring us near to an innumerable company of angels and to the spirits of saints made perfect. As we share their fellowship in our earthly pilgrimage, so may we too come to share their joy in Heaven, for ever and ever.
Amen.
Gradual Anthem I Believe in God Almighty by S.G. Dunstan Heather Maconaghy
The Gospel Brother Charles Edward OLW
The Holy Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to Matthew (5:1-12) from God’s Word, My Voice by Lyn Briggs Glory to you, Lord Christ.
Jesus looked around and saw lots of people around him. He went up the mountain to talk to them, so they could hear him better. This is what he wanted to teach them:
When you are feeling down and think you’re worthless, know that you are blessed, for God’s kingdom is yours.
When you are sad because someone has died, know that you are blessed and you will be comforted.
When you feel like you have nothing to offer, know that you are blessed, because you will be given everything.
When you are hungry and thirsty for God, know that you are blessed and that God will fill you up.
When you are kind, even when you don’t have to be kind, know that you are blessed. Because God notices and will be kind to you. When your eyes and hearts are open to God, know that you are blessed, because you will see and feel God. When you try to bring people together in peace, know that you are blessed, because that’s what God’s children are supposed to do. When people make fun of you because you love me, says Jesus, you can be happy about it, because that’s exactly what they have done to all of God’s people before you.
The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Christ.
The Sermon Paco and Robert
The Affirmation of Faith From Ephesians 3 We believe in God the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. We believe in God the Son, who lives in our hearts through faith
and fills us with his love. We believe in God the Holy Spirit, who strengthens us with power from on high. We believe in one God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Prayers of the People for All Saints Day Led by Devin DeGreenia
Loving God, your Son has revealed you as our heavenly Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. Father of all: Hear your children’s prayer.
You have made your Church a spiritual family, a household of faith. Through baptism we are reborn as the brothers and sisters of Christ. Deepen our unity and fellowship in him. Father of all: Hear your children’s prayer.
You sent your Son to give his life for the sins of the whole human family. Give justice, peace and racial harmony, to the world he died to save. Father of all: Hear your children’s prayer.
You gave your Son a share in the life of a family in Nazareth. Help us to value our families, to be thankful for them, and to live sensitively within them. Father of all: Hear your children’s prayer.
Your Son drew around him a company of friends. Bring love and joy to all who are alone and all who are suffering in any way. We remember especially today… Please add the names of those you are carrying on your heart today… Help us all to find in the brothers and sisters of Christ a loving family. Father of all: Hear your children’s prayer.
You are the God of the dead as well as of the living. In confidence we remember those of the household of faith who have gone before us, especially today… Please add the names of those whose loss you are grieving today… We remember too:

Bring us, with all your saints, to the joy of your home in heaven. Father of all: Hear your children’s prayer.
Collect for Hope and Renewal
God of all power and love, we give thanks for your unfailing presence and the hope you provide in times of uncertainty and loss. Send your Holy Spirit to enkindle in us your holy fire. Revive us to live as Christ’s body in the world: A people who pray, worship, learn, break bread, share life, heal neighbors, bear good news, seek justice, rest and grow in the Spirit. Wherever and however we gather, unite us in common prayer and send us in common mission, that we and the whole creation might be restored and renewed, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
A Special Version of The Lord’s Prayer ~ from The Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones
Hello Daddy! We want to know you. And be close to you. Please show us how. Make everything in the world right again. And in our hearts too. Do what is best – just like you do in heaven. And please do it down here too. Please give us everything we need today. Forgive us for doing wrong, for hurting you. Forgive us just as we forgive other people when they hurt us. Rescue us! We need you. We don’t want to keep running away and hiding from you. You’re strong, God. You can do whatever you want. You are in charge. Now and forever and for always! We think you’re great! Amen! Yes we do!
(Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come,
your will be done, on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.)
The Prayer of Confession and Absolution
Lord our God, in our sin we have avoided your call. Our love for you is like a morning cloud, like the dew that goes away early. Have mercy on us; deliver us from judgment; bind up our wounds and revive us; in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Peace
The peace of the Lord be always with you. And also with you.

November Birthdays
Watch over your children, O Lord, as their days increase; bless and guide them wherever they may be. Strengthen them when they stand; comfort them when discouraged or sorrowful; Raise them up if they fall; and in their hearts may your peace which passes understanding abide all the days of their lives; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer for Spiritual Communion (adapted from Common Worship and St. Augustine’s Prayerbook)
The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give God thanks and praise.
Almighty God, good Father to us all, Your face is turned towards your world. In love you gave us Jesus your Son to rescue us from sin and death. Your Word goes out to call us home to the city where angels sing your praise. We join with them in heaven’s song:
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
Father of all, we give you thanks for every gift that comes from heaven. To the darkness Jesus came as your light. With signs of faith and words of hope he touched untouchables with love and washed the guilty clean. This is his story. This is our song: Hosanna in the highest.
The crowds came out to see your Son, yet at the end they turned on him. On the night he was betrayed he came to table with his friends to celebrate the freedom of your people. This is his story. This is our song: Hosanna in the highest.
O Most blessed Savior, together with the faithful of every altar of your Church where your blessed Body and Blood are being offered to the Father, we desire to offer you our praises and thanksgivings. We present to you ourselves, our souls and bodies, with the earnest wish that we may always be united to you. And since we cannot now receive you in the sacraments, we pray that you come spiritually into our hearts, and we unite ourselves to you and embrace you, O Jesus, with all the love of our souls. COME, Lord Jesus, and dwell in our hearts. This is our story. This is our song: Hosanna in the highest. Amen.

The Closing Hymn For all the saints, who from their labors rest Hymn 287
1 For all the saints who from their labors rest, who thee by faith before the world confessed, thy name, O Jesus, be forever blest. Alleluia! Alleluia!
4 O blest communion, fellowship divine, we feebly struggle, they in glory shine; yet all are one in thee, for all are thine. Alleluia! Alleluia!
