• The survey was sent to 1207 students. Based on an 11.3% response rate we conclude a demand rate of 125 – 301 students wanting to live in a Newman Center Housing Facility:
• Based on a desire to be conservative and on site limitations we recommend that the facility be designed for a initial capacity of 125 students, plus or minus 10%
Draft 12/20/13
Next Steps:
• Reach agreement with the Newman Center to lease the site
• Design a facility in keeping with the survey results
• Prepare a construction budget and operating Proforma
• Secure financing
• Begin construction
• Implement marketing program
• Completion for occupancy
