Highlights of Our Lady of Fatima’s

Message to the World

The only authentic “Peace Plan” for the Salvation of Humankind

https://www.salvemariaregina.info/Message.html

1. Punishment of the World: Our Blessed Mother can no longer restrain the hand of her Divine Son from striking the world with a just punishment for its many crimes.

2. Amendment of Life: “I have come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and ask pardon for their sins. They must not continue to offend Our Lord, Who is already too much offended.”

3. Five Warnings: “If my requests are not granted, Russia will spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions against the Church. Many good people will be martyred, there will come another great war, and various nations will be destroyed.”

4. War: “Wars are a punishment for the sins of humankind.”

5. Sins of the Flesh: “More souls go to Hell because of the sins of the flesh than for any other reason.”

6. Immodest Fashions: “Certain fashions are being introduced that offend Our Lord very much.”

7. Sinful Marriages: “Many marriages are not good; they do not please Our Lord and are not of God.”

8. Daily Rosary: “Say the Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world. And after each decade say the following prayer: ‘O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have most need of Thy mercy.’”

9. Prayer and Sacrifice: “Pray, pray a great deal, and make sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to Hell because they have no one to make sacrifices and pray for them.”

10. Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary: “God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If people do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.”

11. First Saturday Devotion: “I promise to help at the hour of death with the graces needed for salvation those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to confession, receive Holy Communion, say five decades of the Rosary and keep me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the mysteries, with the intention of making reparation to my Immaculate Heart.”

12. World Peace: “Tell everybody that God gives His graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Tell them to ask graces from her, and that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the Lord has confided the peace of the world to her... In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph, Russia will be converted and there will be peace.”

One can feel the energy of a young, growing church in today’s first reading. For Paul and Barnabas, it’s smooth sailing. For the sponsoring church at Antioch,

good news. The second reading - a vision - offers a picture of triumph, pure and simple. We might paraphrase God’s direct words to read: “Don’t you see?

I make all things new!” The young church remains new and young to this day if and when it follows

the command Jesus lays down in the Gospel: “Love one another.” The attitude and actions of love define the disciples and identify them with their master. Every person on this earth can be a disciple. For discipleship does not depend on learning or sophistication or age

or arcane knowledge of secret cults. We are asked to study and practice the ways of love, right here and right now in the company of ordinary people.

Although there are some dioceses in the United

States that celebrate the Ascension of the Lord

on Thursday, May 30th, the majority of the dioceses,

including the Archdiocese of Los Angeles,

will celebrate this solemnity on Sunday, June 2nd.

I was recently reading an article about the real aspects of true love. The psychologist writing the piece said that many people hide behind the words "I love you." They can start believing that if they say it enough times, it

simply becomes true.

Jesus claimed that the world would know his disciples by the fact that they loved one another. In the Church, we speak of loving one another quite frequently. I hope

that someone can tell that I am a disciple of Jesus by the way I love others. However, that hope is something I

have to keep in the center of my mind because I fear too often that I speak more of love than act out of love.

As Christians, we can find ourselves hiding behind our words. History, unfortunately, has shown us that our

witness of action has not always been profound enough. The world will surely know whom it is we serve if we love like Jesus, we act like Jesus, and we serve others like Jesus. Our stewardship will bear witness to the

transforming power of Jesus Christ, and we will bring others to him. Our love will be an instrument of our

evangelization. Our words will become true, not because we said them enough, but because they are true.

Know the ways predators groom children - One of the ways a predator grooms his potential victims is by allowing children to do things their parents wouldn’t — anything from playing video

games, seeing R or PG-13 rated movies, or trying drugs and alcohol. To children, it can be exciting or tempting when another adult says they get to do something they want to do and

have been previously denied. For the predator, this begins to set up a perceived relationship in which the predator becomes a trusted ally to whom the child can turn. Parents should be

aware of who their children spend time with, and what they do together. To learn more from the VIRTUS® article “An Adult Who Allows Kids to Get Away with Things Their Parents Wouldn’t Allow,” visit http://www.la-archdiocese.org/org/protecting/Pages/VIRTUS-Current-Online-
