A Reading from the Book of the Prophet Isaiah (IS 6:1-2A, 3-8)
In the year King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne, with the
train of his garment filling the temple. Seraphim were stationed above. They cried one to
the other, “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts! All the earth is filled with his glory!”
At the sound of that cry, the frame of the door shook and the house was filled with smoke.
Then I said, “Woe is me, I am doomed! For I am a man of unclean lips, living among a
people of unclean lips; yet my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!” Then one of
the seraphim flew to me, holding an ember that he had taken with tongs from the altar.
He touched my mouth with it, and said, “See, now that this has touched your lips, your
wickedness is removed, your sin purged.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
“Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” “Here I am,” I said; “send me!”

A Reading from the First Letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians (1 COR 15:3-8, 11) (The shorter Vatican approved version.)
Brothers and sisters, I handed on to you as of first importance what I also received: thatChrist died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures; that he was buried; that he wasraised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures; that he appeared to Cephas, then tothe Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, most ofwhom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. After that he appeared to James, thento all the apostles. Last of all, as to one abnormally born, he appeared to me. Therefore,whether it be I or they, so we preach and so you believed.
Lector: The Word of the Lord. People: Thanks be to God.
A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke (LK 5:1-11)
People: Glory to you, O Lord.
While the crowd was pressing in on Jesus and listening to the word of God, he wasstanding by the Lake of Gennesaret. He saw two boats there alongside the lake; thefishermen had disembarked and were washing their nets. Getting into one of the boats,the one belonging to Simon, he asked him to put out a short distance from the shore.Then he sat down and taught the crowds from the boat. After he had finishedspeaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch.”Simon said in reply, “Master, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing,but at your command I will lower the nets.” When they had done this, they caught agreat number of fish and their nets were tearing. They signaled to their partners in theother boat to come to help them. They came and filled both boats so that the boatswere in danger of sinking. When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at the knees of Jesusand said, “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man.” For astonishment at the catchof fish they had made seized him and all those with him, and likewise James and John,the sons of Zebedee, who were partners of Simon. Jesus said to Simon, “Do not beafraid; from now on you will be catching men.” When they brought their boats to theshore, they left everything and followed him.
Priest: The Gospel of the Lord. People: Praise to You, Lord Jesus Christ.
The Responsorial: In the sight of the angels I will sing your praises, Lord. (PS 138: 1-2, 2-3, 4-5, 7-8)
Lector: Alleluia People Only: Alleluia (Stand)
Lector Only: Come after me and I will make you fishers of men. People Only: Alleluia
Priest: The Lord be with you. People: And with your spirit.
Creed
I believe in one God, the Father almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
consubstantial with the Father;
through Him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation He came down
from heaven,At the words that follow, up to and including and became Man, all bow
and by the Holy Spirit was Incarnate of the
Virgin Mary and became Man.
For our sake He was crucified under Pontius
Pilate,
He suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the
third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living
and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of
Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
Who with the Father and the Son is adored and
glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

Offertory
We Gather Together
We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing;
He chastens and hastens His will to make known.
The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing.
Sing praises to His Name; He forgets not His own.
Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining,
Whose kingdom calls all to the love which endures.
So from the beginning the fight we were winning;
You, Lord, were at our side, all glory be Yours!
We all do extol You, Our Leader triumphant,
And pray that You still our Defender will be.
Let Your congregation escape tribulation;
Your Name be ever praised! O Lord, make us free!
Entrance
O God, Our Help in Ages Past
O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast,
And our eternal home.
Before the hills in order stood,
Or earth received her frame,
From everlasting Thou art God,
To endless years the same.
A thousand ages in Thy sight
Are like an evening gone;
Short as the watch that ends the night
Before the rising sun.
Time, like an ever-rolling stream,
Soon bears us all away;
We fly, forgotten, as a dream
Dies at the op’ning day.
Concluding
Draw Near
RefrainDraw near, draw near! Take the body of your Lord.Draw near, draw near! Drink the blood for you out-poured.
Draw near and take the body of your Lord,And drink the holy blood for you out-poured.Saved by his body and his holy blood,With souls refreshed we give our thanks to God.Refrain
Christ, our Redeemer, God’s eternal Son,Has by his cross and blood the victory won.He gave his life for greatest and for least,Himself the offering and himself the Priest.Refrain
Let us approach with faithful hearts sincere,And take the pledges of salvations here.Christ, who in this life all the saints defends,Gives all believers life that never ends.Refrain

On April 1st there will be a 6% increase regarding the prices of the interments, graves, niches and crypts at St. Peter’s cemetery. This is not an attempt to make money. It’s more an attempt not to lose any more money. The prices in the mausoleum have not been raised since the mausoleum opened in 1996. Theprices of the graves at the cemetery, to the best of my knowledge, have not been raised in thearea of ten years. As we all know, expenses and wages seemingly go up yearly. In order topay our workers a just wage, maintain the vast cemetery grounds and large mausoleum, whichin that case, includes heating and cooling costs, this price increase needs to be done.
