NOVENA FOR LIFE: Beginning January 14 through January 22, the Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a Novena For Life. In a culture that views the unborn as an inconvenience, we need prayers now more than ever. God did not create life to be disposed of like garbage. Please join us in this time of prayer. There will be prayer cards in the narthex to be prayed during the nine days. The Novena ends on January 22, which is the anniversary of Roe v Wade in 1973. For more information, contact Tom Vollmer at 614-626-2476 or email@example.com.

MEN’S SATURDAY MORNING SCRIPTURE STUDY AND FAITH SHARING: Perhaps in the new year you are thinking of a way to deepen your faith life? The St. Pius X Men’s Ministry, also known as “The Armory” (based on Ephesians 6:10-20) is a fellowship of Catholic Christian men focused on promoting, supporting and strengthening each other’s spiritual growth through companionship, prayer, and the study of sacred scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC), for the purpose of “setting the world on fire” for Jesus and His Church. All men of the parish are invited to join our Saturday morning group! We meet once every 2 weeks on Saturday morning in the Blessed Mother Room in the parish family center, from 6:30-8:00 a.m. This early meeting time serves two purposes; a bit of self- mortification by giving up some sleep, and it is a time slot that usually won’t interfere with other family activities. We first socialize over coffee and light breakfast. Then depending on the liturgical calendar, we might open with a devotional prayer such as the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Rosary, or Stations of the Cross, etc. Next, we proclaim the scripture readings for the Sunday Mass that weekend, along with corresponding references from the CCC, followed by discussion. Bring your Bible and CCC if you can, but not required as we can share. This is a very relaxed environment, we are not theologians and scripture scholars, we are just a group of men trying to strengthen our faith. We all go home joyous and fulfilled after each gathering. We don’t take attendance! If you can’t attend every time we meet, don’t let that stop you from coming when you can, we would love to have you. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Michael Berger at 740-919-4169 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or watch the bulletin for upcoming meeting dates. Our first meeting in the new year will be Saturda
