Even Better Sound at St. Rita!
Why We’re Still Raising Money!

Thank you for all you gave toward the new sound system! We were truly
blessed by your response. Now we enjoy a much better sound system,
allowing more people to hear better. Thank you! But we’re not done! Soon,
we hope to replace the carpet (it needs replacing!), but as we do, we’d like
to investigate the possibility of installing a hearing loop under the carpet.
We’re also looking at implementing other features to improve the
experience for members with hearing difficulties. We’d love to offer a better
sound experience for all the members of our Parish. It just takes money.

So, if you’d STILL like to contribute, please donate online or drop a check in
the collection plate (put “New Sound System” in the memo line). If you have
any other questions or comments, please contact the Parish Business
Office. Thanks for your help!

“I will gather them from the ends of the world…” -Jeremiah 31:8
It’s why the first word of our vision statement for the Parish is
“Gather.” Because it’s what God does; it’s what he’s been doing
since the beginning.
Put very simply: God created us all; and so, therefore, his purpose
is to redeem us all. And he redeems us through love, which is why
fellowship is so important. Because we can show love and experi-
ence love only with another, not in isolation. Love by its nature
involves the other, binding us together. Love is how God brings us
together into what Jesus called the “kingdom” and the “Church.”
And again, it’s love meant for all—because God is the creator of all.
Which is why we gather in everything we do. It’s why we invite you
to worship with us, to join us in ministry, to come here even just
to hang out. Because gathering is what God does, and it’s what we
do too!
And so, this week, gather! Gather here, gather your friends, gather
someone new. Be part of God’s mission, a part of
this great Parish!

SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
According to Luke: A Gospel for Our Time

The Sunday morning Bible study meets weekly throughout the year
(except for holiday weekends). This Biblical book gives us the most vivid
picture of Jesus’ humanity a portrait of a storyteller of great warmth
and imaginaNon as well as prophet, healer and ulNmately savior. No
other gospel gives us so much insight into the workings of the mind of
the Lord who was true God, but also true man.

Congrégate aquí, reúne a tus amigos, reúne a
alguien nuevo. ¡Se parte de la misión de Dios,
parte de esta gran parroquia.
Paz,
Padre Joshua

agradable posible a Nuestro Señor.
