Mar. 13 When we allow Jesus to enter our lives we dis-
cover the secret to keeping alive the flame of our spir-
itual life.
Mar. 14 If we encounter Jesus and our brothers and sisters
every day, our hearts will not dwell in the past or the future.
They will live in God's present moment, in peace with every-
one.
Mar. 15 In order to prepare a truly human future, it is not
enough to reject evil. We must build the common good to-
gether.
Mar. 16 Lent is the road that leads from slavery to freedom,
from suffering to joy, from death to life.
Mar. 17 Jesus made Himself like the grain of wheat that
falls to the ground and dies to give life. Our hope springs
from that love-filled life.
Mar. 18 As we listen to the aspirations of young people, may
we catch a glimpse of the world that lies ahead, and of the
roads the Church is called to travel.
Mar. 19 Dear fathers, happy Feast of St. Joseph! Follow his
example when caring for your children as they grow up in
wisdom and grace.
Mar. 21 Nobody can be discarded, because we are all vulner-
able. Each one of us is a treasure whom God allows to grow
in his or her own way. #Downsyndrome, #WDSD18

Catholic Women's Health Care and Natural Family Planning:
The Syracuse diocese is home to a network of prac-
titioners and doctors who specialize in a system of au-
thentic women's health care known as the Creighton
Model FertilityCare System.
This system empowers women and couples to gain
vital information about their health and fertility. It
can be used for natural family planning as well as the
diagnosis and treatment of infertility and various oth-
ers women's health issues.
Women of all reproductive ages are encouraged to
explore this system as a means of better understand-
ing and monitoring their own health as well as appre-
ciating the great gift of their fertility.
For couples, it is an effective and fulfilling means
of building their families in a manner that is in com-
plete conformity with Catholic Church teaching.
(Method effectiveness rate for avoiding pregnancy is
99.5%, and success rates for overcoming infertility are
equal to or greater than that of In Vitro Fertiliza-
tion.)
Introductory Sessions of the Creighton Model Fer-
tilityCare System are available by appointment.
Please contact the FertilityCare Choices at 488-
3139 ext. 16 or www.fertilitycarechoices.com.
