On this year's Catechetical Sunday, I have a special mes-sage for all parents: Thank you for answering the call to be the primary educators to your children. Our Lord will provide you with every grace necessary to share and nurture the faith in your families. Remember, the greatest gift you can give to your children is your faith, which aligns with this year's theme for Catechetical Sunday, "/ received from the Lord what I also handed on to you." The ultimate goal is to help your child become a saint. I ask that you join me on this Catechetical Sunday in thanking our Pastors, Directors of Religious Education and their Faith Formation teams. I commend the parishes for ensuring that the religious education classes and instruc-tion are offered to all families in a safe and accommodating manner this year. Baptisms
Parents desiring Baptism for their child must attend a class, preferably before the child’s birth. The clas-ses are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:30pm in the Louis Martin Conference Room in the Administration Bldg. After you attend the class, you may schedule your child for the Sacrament of Bap-tism (Sundays 1:30pm). Date is confirmed once all paperwork is received in the office. Forms can be found on the Parish web-site under Faith, Sacra-ments, Baptism.
Matrimony
The priest must be con-tacted at least six (6) months prior to the wed-ding date.
