Dear Colleagues and Friends, On behalf of the Croatian Society of Travel, Tropical and Migration Medicine of the Croatian Medical Association and the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the 1st South-East European Conference on Travel, Tropical, Migration Medicine and HIV and the 2nd Croatian Conference on Travel, Tropical, Migration Medicine and HIV which will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, September 28 – October 1, 2017. A very successful 1st CroCTM & HIV held in 2015 that gathered more than 150 participants from ten countries and a growing interest in migration medicine in the region, encouraged us to organize the first Southeast European Conference of this kind. We are looking forward to even greater success at this year’s Conference. The main goal of the congress is to bring together Southeastern European health care workers with various professional backgrounds and leading experts in the field to share knowledge and expertise on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the most common diseases in travelers and migrants, major tropical diseases and HIV infection. We aim to achieve this goal through high quality workshops and invited lectures and also hope that younger colleagues will have a great learning experience and the opportunity to present their original work. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Dubrovnik. Sincerely, Davorka Lukas President
