Dear Father Will,

Thank you for having the Mass on the website. I am older and not always able to get up so early in the morning to watch. I can watch it from the comfort of my chair!

God bless you and I hope to see you soon in Church!

Dear Father Will,

Thank you for having Adora-tion during the day. I am able to bring my Mother for visits. My Mother is so happy to be able to sit and be in the Church. It brings her much comfort.

To be VERY honest, it has brought me much needed peace.

Sincerely.

Dear Father Will,

We would like to thank you again for daily Exposition of the Blessed Sacra-ment, for your constant prayers, and your wonderful daily homilies. You are in our prayers as well.

God Bless you and keep you well.

Dear Father Will,

I appreciate the letter and the phone call from your staff. I am doing well and my family is so good to me.

I will call you if I need something. How are you at cutting hair?

Hope to see you soon and thanks for all you do.

Dear Father Will,

I got your letter and I enjoyed talk-ing to the staff. I am doing okay but I hope that we all will be together soon in Church.

I hope this helps our little Church out. Use it where ever you need to.

May God Bless you.

Dear Father,

I am placing a check for St. John the Evangelist Church in gratitude for welcom-ing my family today. We came from Princ-eton, New Jersey to confess our sins and adore the Lord.

Please accept this gift for you. I am hoping you will be able to enjoy a splendid Sun-day meal during the Easter season with the other priests in the Rectory.

Blessings!

We are still dealing with COVID 19 and our lives continue to remain unsettled. We have reached the conclusion that prayer is essential and our faith is important. This week, I want to call your attention to Saint Roch or Rocco who was born about 1295, at Montpellier, France, along the Mediterranean Sea. His birth was said to be a miracle, as his mother as not able to bear a child for years. He was born with a birthmark on his chest that was a red cross that is said to have become larger in size as he grew. His father was an influential leader. After the death of his parents, twenty - two year old Roch (Rocco) led a life where he distributed his wealth to the poor and set out on a pilgrim-age to Rome. At that time, many people in Italy were afflicted with an epidemic of the plague, and the young Roch (Rocco) devoted his time, energy and prayers to the care of those in the hospitals who had been infected. Wherever he went, the plague disappeared before him. God had given him the power to work miracles on behalf of those who were suffering. With prayer, the sign of the cross and the touch of his hand, the person was cured. This week whisper a prayer to Saint Roch (Rocco) that our prayers for healing of mind, body and soul will be answered.

Prayer to Saint RoccoO Great St. Rocco, deliver us,

we beseech thee, from the scourges of God;through thy Intercessory,

preserve our bodies from contagious diseases, and our souls from the contagion of sin.

Obtain for us salubrious air;but, above all, purity of heart.

Assist us to make good use of health,to bear suffering with patience;

and, after thy example,to live in the practice of penance and charity,

that we may one day enjoy the happinesswhich thou has merited by thy virtues.

St. Rocco, pray for us (say three times)Saint Rocco is venerated in the Roman Catholic Church as the protector against the plague and all contagious diseas-es. Pray for St. Rocco’s intercession for protection from the Coronavirus.
