MYOKO KOGENMyoko Kogen is located in the Japanese Alps, 4 hours from Tokyo and 2 hours from Hakuba. Myoko is known to be the powder Mecca of the main Island with an average snow fall of 14m over a season, with a 4m average base and some of the longest runs in the whole of Japan. It has 4 main ski resorts that are included within the Myoko big 4 pass. The main accommodation hub is Akakura, which is full of traditional Japanese restaurants, natural onsen baths and is all within walking distance to the ski lifts. This is not the place to go if you want to Party, but a great place for good powder snow and a traditional Japanese experience.
