Andover Bands, West Hills Bands.

In my free time, I enjoy...

golf, reading about golf, watching the Golf Channel, crossword puzzles (preferably with golf related themes).

In retirement I plan to...

Clinic and Adjudicate bands, play golf, perhaps do some consulting, travel to visit the kids.

My fondest memories of BHS include...

30 years of working with amazing young people, our 2010 concert in Carnegie Hall, marching in London past the Houses of Parliament on January 1, 2000 as the bells of Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Westminster Hall all pealed simultaneously, playing in Hill Auditorium in 1987, 1994 and 2001, our performance in Grand Rapids at the MMC last year.

My family members include...

travel Route 66 and Hawaii with my family. Waterfalls and volcanoes are calling my name. I will continue to volunteer at my church, historical society, and teacher organizations. I will improve my high performance driving skills at Michigan tracks and also improve my driving skills on the golf course.

Graduating in 1971, returning to teach English with intellectually stimulating colleagues, creating a community read program, developing an IB- DP English curriculum AND TEACHING IT, running a parent reading group, meeting with students who have returned from college...and most of all working with students and staff on a daily basis who made me grow personally and intellectually.

working at Wing Lake and serving the private schools has been a dream job. At Wing Lake I have enjoyed everything from working with wonderful people, helping fantastic students and assisting very caring parents. Helping with dismissal is great fun and writing a newsletter for 22 years has been a hoot. But it has always been about the people. They are good people.

(2007-2009), West Hills - Resource Room Para 4 years (2009-2013), West Hills - 5th grade coach for 6 years.(2009-2015), My education career also includes 11 years in the Birmingham district, 1 in the Autistic Impaired program at Harlan, and 10 years at Quarton as a Technology Operational Asst. Prior to that I worked in Advertising as a Media Buyer for 9 years after getting my BA from MSU.
