STAFF UPDATE It is hard to believe that the school year has come to a close. With the end of the year, we say goodbye and good luck to Mrs. Bracht, Mr. Davidson, Ms Yuan, Ms Greene, Ms Reddy, Ms Safie, Ms Lew Kee, Mr. Chan, Ms Shalash, Ms Kollar, Mr. Chu, and Mrs. Carol Fan. All of them have made special contributions to Forest Manor! In the meantime, Ms Cyr will be on Maternity Leave, so we will be hiring someone in August to teach Kindergarten, Room 111. Finally, we wish Ms Bonnie Vadum a fantastic retirement as she is leaving Forest Manor! We will miss her passion for teaching and love children! We have a few new staff joining Forest Manor P.S. next year, starting with Mr. Fong as morning Media/Health prep teacher. We also have 3 new Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) join- ing the FDK team: Ms Waldeniya, Ms Najmabadi, and Ms Belliu. Mrs. Gray will be returning from maternity leave to teach kindergarten. Finally, assuming the position of Principal is Ms Laydin Bowles, who was recently promoted from Der- rydown Public School. I will definitely miss everyone, but look forward to the 50th anniversary celebration in May 2018! To our students, best of luck in their future endeav- ors, especially our Grade 5 and 6 graduating classes. To the parents and incredible School Council, thank you for your support, efforts and engagement! Finally, I am very grateful to and appreciate the amazing and talented staff at Forest Manor!
