ACA – What to Do Now

• Good news, one year delay in employer mandate

• Reality check, you must be ready to start tracking Jan 1

• Who must be offered coverage on 1/1/15?– Full time employees

– New employees who you expect to be full time

• More good news– You can offer different plans to different people, if fully insured

– There are plans being designed for temps (but none are ready yet)

– Employee contributions may have to vary based on wage rate

– Co-employment liabilities should not be an issue for your clients
