Host Welcome everyone!

• Guess what? We are going to have so much fun today as we talk about the WONDERFUL things that God has created.

• But, today is also special because it’s our…BACK TO SCHOOL BASH!!!

• We are celebrating the new school year with some fun! • Let’s start our fun as we praise Jesus!

4-World_Everyday_Worship Video 5-World_Logo_Slide Wow! I love the way God made us so that we can sing and dance to worship Him! He made you so wonderful! Who made everything wonderful?

• That’s right, God made everything wonderful! • So far we’ve talked about how God made the water, sky, land

and trees, and ALL the animals. • But there is one extra-special creation God made. Let’s check

it in with our Wonder Clubhouse friends to find out what that is!

6-World_Wk 4_Full_Video 7-World_Logo_Slide

• Justin the Mailman told us the story of God’s best creation. Does anyone remember what that was? (People)

• Yes! People are God’s best creation. • And you know what makes us so special? • We were created in the very image of GOD! • Which brings us to our Bottom Line!

8-World_Bottom Line_Slide Say it with me:

God made everything wonderful!

• God made us different from the animals He created. Animals can’t think deeply about great truths. They can't create stories or art or music. Animals can't appreciate all the beautiful things that are God's creation.

• God gave humans special abilities, because He created us in Him own image.

• All of us are different and have lots of different things we’re good at.

• Let’s take a moment to pray and thank God for making a wonderful world!

Heavenly Father, what an awesome, amazing God You are. Thank You for making each one of these precious boys and girls. They are amazing. And we know that You made each of us in a wonderful way. Thank You for the gift of Your WONDERful creation. We love everything You made and we love You! In Jesus’ name, amen

Now let’s get up on our feet as we worship God again today! 9-World_What a Mighty God_Worship Video 10-World_Everybody Sing_Worship Video

11-World_Offering_Slide I love that last song, because it reminds us that God made everything! And He made it awesome! So what do we do now that we learned all about what God has made?

• We can learn to take care of His creation! • That means we can take care of all the animals and trees. We

can also be kind to one another. • And it also means we can take care of what God has given us.

Which brings us to our offering. Offering is a time when we give back to God because we’re so THANKFUL for what HE’s given us. If anyone has offering, please place it in (indicate area).

12-World_August Family Mission_Slide We can care about God’s favorite creation – people – through our Family Mission! As some of you have gone back to school, or you have big brothers and big sisters who’ve gone back to school, you can pray for them! Our August Family Mission is a Back to School Prayer! You and your family can pray for the kids who’ve gone back to school school and ALSO the teachers, the principals, and workers! Before we leave today, we’re going to pray for… You! We are going to ask God to give you courage to shine like a light for Him. And we’re going to ask Him to help you to do the right thing at school.

13-World_Logo_Slide Okay everyone, it’s very important to go back to school with the right supplies! We’ve going to make sure we are all set with our school supplies with a game called “Pack it Up!”

Page 4: Staging: Game: Back it up · Game: Back it up o Materials Needed: (You will be splitting your large group into 2, 3, or 4 teams depending on the size of your group. Each group will

Here’s how to play! • First, I’m going to separate you into groups and line your group

up in front of a pile of school supplies. Create teams and line them up, each behind a pile of supplies as listed on Page 1.

• Now, I’m going to give the last child in each line a backpack. Give the last child in each line a backpack.

• The supplies at the front of each line (point to supplies) need to make it all the way from the front of the line to the end of the line. My friends at the end of lines will put the supplies into the backpack.

• Let’s practice slowly. The first child in each line should grab one supply and pass it over his/her head to the next child who passes it over his/her head to the next child. This continues until the item is to the last child in line. The last child puts the item in the backpack.

• Great job! When your group gets an item into the backpack, the first person can start passing the next item. You will pass until all 5 Items are in your team’s backpack!

• Whichever team gets their backpack full of their items first, will be the winner!

Now, make sure you come back here to Praise Island next week to help me start our new series, Superkids! If you love superheroes, you’re not going to want to miss it!
