PEER CHEERS

Kiss Your Brain — kiss your hand and pat your head

Happy Clam Clap — palms together, held horizontally, hinging at the heels of your hands, snap together

High 5’s — palm open, punch up toward the ceiling

Thumbs Up

Drum Roll — drum on the table top, note: you’ll need a stop signal

Round of Applause — clapping your hands as you move them in a circle in front of you

Ketchup Bottle Cheer — smack a balled fist with your other open hand as though you’re getting the last of the ketchup bottle

Firecracker Cheer — palms together, from your waist, bring them up above your head with a “shhhh” sound, clap and rain your fingers down with an “ahhh”

Awesome Cheer — a hands above your head bow “awesome”

Yes! — Right arm pump “yes!” left arm pump “yes!” both arm pump “yes!”

Rainbow of Wows — both palms out with a sweeping rainbow motion from side-to-side “wow”

WOW — hold up ring finger, middle finger, and index finger of each hand to form W’s at your cheeks, the “O” is your open mouth “wow”

Silent Cheer

Cowgirl/Cowboy Cheer — with a sweeping, roping motion over your head, “yeehaw”

Micro Wave — wave with just your pinkie fingers

Big Clap — arms out, clap horizontally

Gator Clap arms out, clap vertically

Hulk Hogan — strike a strong man pose with a “grrrr”

Sprinkler Cheer — arms out clap like a Big Clap moving from left to right, then spring back with quick claps as a sprinkler would do in returning to the left

Fantastic Cheer — trigger pump with one hand “sh sh sh” wipe with the other “you’re fantastic”

Trucker Cheer — hand to your mouth as a cb radio would be held “10-4 good job, Buddy”

FL Pageant Winner Cheer — hands on your cheeks, “oh!” hands in the air, “I can’t believe it!” beauty queen wave, “thank you very much”

Elvis Cheer — hand on extended hip, other hand swinging a microphone, in your Elvis voice, “Thank you, thank you very much”
