This presentation has been created in order to educate teachers about the purpose of the Texas Chart and Texas Long Range Plan (2006-2020).
The Texas Long Range Plan ensures that each student will receive 21st Century technology skills before the year 2020. These skills include manipulating software, using different forms of technology such as scanners, digital cameras, etc. Students will also know how to use the internet as a research tool as well as share information, resources and materials. Develop a learning environment that is flexible, fosters collaboration amongst students, and utilizes various forms of technology.
Administration and instructional leaders use data when making decisions.
Create, implement, and monitor a technology plan that ensures each student will acquire the 21st Century Skills needed to survive in this ever changing world.
