STARBALL SOCCER’s VALUE

Page 8: Starball soccer introduction_09_07_14

The Starball concept adds value to players, clubs and countries!

Technical skills: The lack of development of technical proficiency from a young age is addressed by Starball; benefiting players, clubs and nations through improved

technique.

Broadening appeal: The fun nature of the game broadens the basic appeal of football to non-players.

Available space: The size of the Starball pitch address the lack of space for full size pitches

Time crunched: The short intense duration overcomes many players’ lack of time to play a full 90 minute game.

Starball’s Value

Starball’s Technical BenefitsIt is generally accepted that nations like England and the USA suffer at

the international level due to a lack of focus on technical mastery in players from a young age. Simply said, traditional 11-a-side football

training and playing is not the best way of improving a player’s technique.

Starball Soccer was designed specifically to help players develop technical ability. Starball demands quick thinking, fast reactions, more creativity with the available space and more accurate shooting ability.

Multiplying the most intense and exciting moments of the game into 22 minutes not only improves technique and but also boosts fitness.

Starball’s Value to Clubs Besides the technical benefits of helping players increase their

technique, Starball’s innovative and fun format will help attract new players.

In doing so we will create a broader football community of players not traditionally attracted to football.

We will do this by using Starball as a social responsibility and social enterprise initiative in the US and UK.

STARBALL IN THE USA

Page 12: Starball soccer introduction_09_07_14

Starball in the USAThe United States is a huge soccer market and the World Cup made it clear that

soccer is growing in popularity.

Major European Clubs are building their brand presence and cultivating a fan base in the United States.

Youth soccer programs are the norm across major clubs.

Some clubs are even embracing vocational education training for under privileged youths (i.e. Chelsea FC)

Starball as a community and social responsibility program offers an opportunity for European clubs to build their brands in the USA. For MLS clubs Starball is a

perfect supplement to existing community outreach.

Starball - Bronx CSR initiative We are working with The Majora Carter Group to locate Starball courts in the

Bronx in NYC.

We will use Starball to stimulate interest in football with local youth.

Majora Carter Group will use their local leaders to arrange and run tournaments at various venues.

Once established we will encourage unemployed local people to manage the courts, thus creating employment opportunities.

We are seeking the involvement of a major football club to support our initiative.
