The Holiday Blend is a full bodied, dark roast that

is spicy and rich with aged Sumatran beans. It is

a perfect blend of earthy Asia Pacific, lively Latin

American and spicy, aged Sumatran beans. This

blend has a sweet and spicy taste.

Starbucks’ Holiday Blend would be paired perfectly with

ginger, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange, and cloves

flavors because of its blend of sweet and spicy. Think

cinnamon rolls, pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins, and gingersnap

cookies and snicker doodles.

Last Saturday, I had a good old friend come over for a visit.

I thought that Starbucks Holiday Blend Coffee with some

cinnamon rolls would make a great addition to our get-

together. We had a great afternoon catching up.

I don’t know about you but at our house

the day does not start without some

coffee. I brewed some Starbucks Holiday

Blend and sat down on the lanai to drink it.

The first thing I noticed was the delicious

aroma; and the scent of freshly brewed

coffee always makes me think of home

and reminds me of my dad.

The Starbucks Holiday Blend has

a sweet aroma that immediately

brought back memories of

holidays spent with family,

Christmas cookies and ponche de

frutas (fruit punch).

I took the first sips and found the coffee

to be rich and bold in taste with a hint

of spices. Then I tried it after I ate a

cinnamon roll and this time I could

definitely taste some cinnamon and clove

as well as a hint of citrus. My husband

tried it too and we both agreed that the

taste was really enhanced, especially

its sweetness and its hint of spices. By

pairing it with the mini cinnamon rolls, they

truly complement each other.

When you’re entertaining, it’s good to think about how well the

things you serve go together. Do the flavors complement each

other? The cinnamon rolls were a good pairing with the Starbucks

Holiday Blend. It’s a Sumatran coffee with notes of ginger, pumpkin,

and cinnamon, nutmeg, orange and cloves.

The cinnamon rolls really bring out the cinnamon,

ginger and nutmeg flavors in the coffee. The coffee

itself was flavorful without being overpowering. Even

at a bargain price, it lived up to my Starbucks quality

standards. Ah, the sweet smells of the holidays!

When I was at Sam’s Club last week, I picked up a large package

of Starbucks Limited Edition Holiday Blend Coffee along with a

package of mini cinnamon rolls from the bakery.

We enjoyed the richness of the coffee by itself.

We then paired it with the delicious mini cinnamon rolls. The pairing

of the two was perfect! The cinnamon flavor in the rolls really

brought out the complementary notes in the coffee. I can’t wait to

eat some with pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving!

Mitch stopped by Sam’s Club on his way home from work the other

night and picked up our traditional Tree Decorating Day breakfast -

Artisan Fresh Cinnamon Rolls from the bakery department. Yum!

He also grabbed a bag of Starbucks Holiday Blend fresh ground

coffee. I generally choose tea over coffee, but the promise of

holiday flavors in a warm coffee drink sounded too good to pass up.

I have to admit...we brewed up a pot as soon as he

got home! It smelled too good to resist until breakfast

the next morning! The coffee has notes of ginger,

pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange and cloves, so it

truly tastes like Christmas in a cup!

15I am actually really chilly as I sit down to write this

post and Starbucks Holiday Blend Coffee sounds like

just what I need to warm me up, inside and out.

What could be a more delicious pairing to go with the seasonal

flavors of the special blend than some really yummy mini cinnamon

rolls and a trio of sweet breads?

Talk about a delicious treat! The flavors were not intense and not

overpowering, but warm; and with the hint of orange it made for a

delicious cup of coffee. Now if there were only a way to add a hint of

chocolate it would be perfect for me!

Recently, while shopping at Sam’s Club, I noticed they were selling

Starbucks Limited Edition Holiday Blend Coffee. I was pleased

to find that a 28 oz. bag was only $18.98! I found some Mini

Cinnamon Rolls to pair up with the coffee at Sam’s Club too! They

looked SO good that I just couldn’t resist!

I tried the coffee first. It was smooth with a spicy,

sweet and slightly citrus flavor. It wasn’t too acidic

or bitter which is just how I like it!

Then I tried the coffee cinnamon rolls. I love how I could taste hints

of cinnamon and nutmeg in the Starbucks Holiday Blend once

I tried them both together. They really made a great pair for my

morning pick me up! My hubby tried them too and loved how they

paired as well. He really liked the hint of cloves and cinnamon he

tasted in the coffee once he tried the two together!

Being a coffee addict, this is a great time of the year for coffee with all

the holiday blends of flavors. I was so excited to see that Sam’s Club

was carrying the Starbucks Limited Edition Holiday Blend bagged

coffee and for only $18.98 for a 28 oz. bag…now that is a savings!

I was very excited to come home and

share my “find” with my husband; plus I

could not wait to brew a nice hot pot of

my Starbucks Holiday Blend Coffee and

have a couple of cinnamon rolls with it.

The combination of this coffee with the cinnamon

rolls turned out to be one of the most delicious pairings I have had in

a long time. I could not believe how much the cinnamon rolls brought

out the flavors of ginger, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange, and

cloves in the coffee!

Starbucks Holiday Blend Coffee is “Sweet and spicy with hints of comfort

and joy.” So, it is the perfect pairing for Artisan Fresh Cinnamon Crunch

muffins and Artisan Fresh Pumpkin Muffins from the Sam’s Club bakery.

This past weekend when my sister had her annual boutique sale in her

home, we put out Starbucks Limited Edition Holiday Blend Coffee and

Artisan Fresh muffins for the shoppers to enjoy while browsing!

I tried the pumpkin muffin and

followed it with the coffee.

Wow! It was like the ginger

and clove were having a party

in my mouth! The two are the perfect pairing! I love how the coffee

really complemented the spices in the muffins.

Our family LOVES coffee. Not just any coffee, but good, strong, quality

coffee. That is why I was so happy when I went to Sam’s Club the other

day and noticed that there is a Starbucks Holiday Blend of coffee, I had to

take it home with me.

Next, I headed over to the bakery to find some great cinnamon rolls to go

along with my coffee. I enjoy a good cinnamon roll with my coffee in the

morning. It is one of my favorite duos.

After eating a cinnamon roll and taking another sip of the coffee, I

definitely noticed the cinnamon flavor of the coffee come out more. The

coffee has a taste of cinnamon and nutmeg, two flavors that remind

me of pumpkin pie and the holidays! If you eat these when

tasting the coffee you will see what I am talking about.

The verdict is that the Starbucks Holiday Blend

is great on its own but also pairs nicely

with most any sweet treat!

At school we are always running low on coffee and our amazing

PTO moms often donate to the school. We are lucky to have an

amazing group of dedicated PTO moms. So when I found the

Starbucks Holiday Blend at Sam’s Club, there was a certain PTO

mom who came to mind.

She’s always up at school putting in time volunteering like it’s her

full-time job. Her dedication amazes me and my school is lucky

to have her. So I picked up a box of Sam’s Club Artisan Fresh

Cinnamon Crunch muffins for her. We thought they would be

perfect with the rich flavor of the Holiday Blend.

Any chance I have to celebrate with a good cup of coffee and

something sweet to eat I am right on it. Good coffee and a pastry

is heaven as far as I am concerned. The Starbucks Holiday Blend

Coffee has a full bodied mellow flavor that glides over your taste

buds and makes them sing.

After taking a couple of sips of coffee I picked out a Red Velvet

Cake Ball and took a bite. What is it about Red Velvet? It tastes so

good. I’m glad I decided on the Cake Balls because after taking a

sip of the coffee again I knew they were the perfect pastry to enjoy

on National Pastry Day with the Starbucks Coffee.

We had a lot to celebrate this weekend! My husband is a veteran so

we had to celebrate that. He loves coffee {and so do I}. So we looked

for a nice coffee for him. The Starbucks Holiday Blend description

appealed to me – “spicy & sweet with hints of comfort and joy.”

He thought the coffee had just the right amount of

comfort and joy in it – but pairing the coffee with the

cinnamon rolls made his morning even more joyous.

I normally put half and half in my coffee and I was surprised that eating

a super sweet cinnamon roll while drinking the coffee made my coffee

seem sweet without any additions. I could taste the pumpkin and

cinnamon pairings in the coffee and I was really surprised about that!

recently when it was suggested

to me to try the new Starbucks

I am a bit of a cinnamon roll freak. All that warm,

fluffy pastry loaded with cinnamon flavor; and please

don’t skimp on the sticky icing! The only way to make

it better is to add a cup (or 6 in my case)

of Starbucks Holiday Blend Coffee.

Oh how I wish you could smell this!! It has a warm, comforting

scent. It is full of cinnamon and cloves with hints of orange, ginger,

and nutmeg. Smells happy!

I first tried the coffee and really enjoyed the warm, spicy flavors.

Then I dug into a warm cinnamon roll and when I went back

for another sip of coffee it was amazing how much stronger the

cinnamon and clove tasted. The flavors really popped! I never knew

how certain coffees could enhance your food and vice versa. I

would truly recommend trying these together!

Given that we’re in the heart of the holiday season, I’ve been hearing

a lot about Starbucks’ new Holiday Blend. Expecting to find a small

cup of coffee, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Sam’s Club was

serving full-size cups of Starbucks’ new Holiday Blend and a full-size

Artisan Fresh Cinnamon Roll! What a wonderful morning treat for

early morning shoppers.

When I first tasted the coffee, I noticed how smooth

it was. There was no bitterness that I can almost

immediately detect in a low quality roast. This

particular blend balances sweet and spicy flavors, but

it wasn’t until I sipped the coffee with the cinnamon roll

that I was able to detect specific spices like cinnamon.

coffee. Then I tried pairing the Starbucks Coffee with the Artisan

I read a few weeks ago that Sam’s Club would be offering

a FREE Delicious Pairings Breakfast to their Black Friday

shoppers! The pairing consisted of Starbucks Holiday Blend

Coffee, Artisan Fresh Cinnamon Rolls and fresh fruit. Because

of this event, it helped sway me to purchase them!

I don’t like my coffee strong so I did not follow the

package directions when I brewed my own.

It turned out GREAT! I could taste the orange

and cinnamon undertones.

Some of the other flavors included in the coffee are nutmeg,

cloves, ginger and pumpkin. I normally do not purchase

Starbucks Coffee to brew at home and only get their mixed

drinks at their retail locations. I was pleasantly surprised at how

good my cup of coffee was!

After grabbing a few gift boxes at Walmart I headed around the

corner to Sam’s Club to grab the last gift I needed to pick up.

While I was there I saw this big display for the Starbucks Limited

Edition Holiday Blend Coffee and decided to grab a bag. By

buying it in bulk meant it wound up being about the same price

as store brand coffee.

You may not know this but I have a severe weakness for

cinnamon rolls so it was impossible for me to pass up the mini

cinnamon rolls in the bakery section. They’re mini so they don’t

really count if you eat them right?

I brewed up a pot of the Holiday Blend

and set out some cinnamon rolls. This

special blend brings out the magic

in foods that have cinnamon, ginger,

nutmeg, cloves and more which makes

for some Delicious Pairings.

was National Pastry Day? Did you celebrate?

Our family did, and why not…

who wouldn’t enjoy fresh pastry

and a little coffee on the side?

This weekend I stopped by our local Sam’s Club to pick up our pastries

and we chose the Artisan Fresh Cinnamon Rolls and their Artisan

Fresh Apple Lattice Pie! We also stopped by Sam’s Club’s fantastic

assortment of coffee and picked up a bag of Starbucks Limited Edition

Holiday Blend!

Once we got home I brewed up a pot of the Starbucks Holiday Blend.

As a daily coffee drinker, I have to say that this blend is fantastic.

We had fun tasting them all together for a sweet treat. The cinnamon

rolls really brought out the cinnamon in the coffee. And the apple pie

and coffee together were so tasty! Typically I have apple pie with ice

cream, but I think I have found a new favorite combination!

One family tradition we have is to eat cinnamon rolls

for breakfast every Christmas morning with coffee.

There is something so wonderful about that

Delicious Pairing. This year I picked up a bag

of the Starbucks Holiday Blend Coffee and a pack

of the Artisan Fresh cinnamon rolls from Sam’s Club

to motivate my tree decorators.

Did you know that certain kinds of coffee go better with certain

foods?

When we tried a bite of the cinnamon rolls with the coffee it was

amazing! I couldn’t believe how much more cinnamon I could taste.

My family all agreed that the cinnamon rolls were so much better

with the coffee. We will definitely be getting more of these rolls to

enjoy with the rest of our Starbucks coffee on Christmas morning.
