If you’ve never participated in Wednesday night PEAK at LCPC, think about what you’ve been missing! • An excellent, hot meal is served in Koop- mans Hall from 5:30-6:20 PM For just $3 ($2 for children) you get a main course, one or two side dishes, salad, three drink options, and dessert! You’d probably pay more if you bought the food and cooked it yourself! • From 6:30-8:00 PM, there are three different groups offered for children (and infant and toddler care), Abide Junior High, and Bell Choir for high school youths and adults (6:30-7:30 PM). • The Cathedral Choir rehearses from 7:30- 9:00 PM. Over the next several months, adults will have four exciting and very different options from 6:30-8:00 PM: The Gospel of Mark with Lee Cook! Dig into the Gospel to discover how we can be faithful to Jesus in today’s uncertain times. The class accommodates different learning styles and includes lively discussion, games, light homework and…candy! (See “Lee’s Latest” for details.) Meets in Koop- mans Hall North. Creative Bible Journaling with Michelle Bouse! Back by popular de- mand, this fun group creates art pieces that are inspired by the Bible. At each class Mi- chelle introduces a different art theme with examples. Art supplies are provided. Anyone age 16 or older is welcome. To purchase your Bible journal, go to: http://www.lifeway. com/n/Type/Journaling-Bible. 0 Meets in the Narthex. Foundations for Families! Want a stronger, healthier marriage? Working with a dynamic new church-based program called Deep Love, couples will acquire powerful and practical tools they can use to build a solid foundation for a lifetime. This group is intended for couples in their 20s through 40s (including engaged couples), though some in their 50s and older may also benefit. Andy Wilson will work with the leadership team to keep each session lively and relevant. Meets in the Chapel. Growing Young: 6 Essential Strate- gies to Help Young People Discover and Love Your Church! Ed Carlson leads this 8-week class that is based on the new book by the same title. What can we learn from research and experience about youth and their sometimes wavering connections with church? What can we do as individuals and as a church to attract young people, nurture relationships with them, and develop them as leaders? Anyone high school age or older is welcome. Meets in the John Estelle Room. Make PEAK a part of your week! Bring a friend!
