A random sampling of SWS subscrib-ers received an email invitation to answer survey questions about their experiences

Industry
Almost half of respondents (48%) state that they serve an engineering function. An additional 23% work in government administration. Eleven percent are contractors.
Many respondents (24%) are working with a budget of less than $25,000, but 26% of respondents have a million- or multimillion-dollar budget.

analysisThe most-used product/service categories are street cleaning, sewers and drainage, and erosion control; 100% of respondents said they use these. Over the next two years, respondents plan to invest in rainwater harvesting and reuse (55%), concrete products (47%) and education resources (45%).
