Three States of Matter:There are three states of matter. These states are known as:
Solid
Liquid
Gas
Solid:
Has a set volume
It keeps its set shape
It cannot flow like a liquid or gas.
Particles in a solid move, but only by vibrating in the same spot.
Liquid
Has a set volume
Will take the container of the shape it is in
A liquid can flow
Particles in a liquid are free to move around
Gas:Has no set volume
Fills any container it is in and takes the shape of the container
A gas can flow
Particles in a gas are free to move around and are separated by large spaces
