Two mesh-backed chairs with integrated height-adjustable lumbar support. Mantle has a rounded backrest and Kuhla has a square backrest. Both use a heavy-duty synchronous seat mechanism.

model codes In November 2013 the Status Seating model numbers for chairs with Therapod, Chiropod and C-Pod backrests changed to a new Model Codex format based on the Humanfactor product ranges, and commencing with HF (Humanfactor) rather than SF (Status and Form) identifying characters.

As well as a model change, the models were also physically amended to have a black nylon Spider base, rather than the flat polished aluminium base with protective telescopic tube that was previously the standard. Additionally, the Nape Pad became an option rather than a standard for higher backrest chairs. This also had the effect of reducing the price of the new Humanfactor model in comparison to the older SF models.

For reasons of client continuation, or out-dated internet content, or internal computer model descriptions there are still a few customers who place orders in the old model code format. We are happy to continue to supply chairs that are in the older format, for which the price list below applies from January 19th 2015. We reserve the right to discontinue these older versions of current models at any time.

All models come with a flat, polished aluminium base and telescopic tube, sliding seat and side-action tension control.

Fabric optionsRetail prices for chairs are banded in accordance with the quality or cost of the covering material. Alongside the named fabrics in our price list bands, our strong and well-established links with UK supply partners enable us to offer a broader range of grades and colours.

Most models can be upholstered in vinyl, leather, or other covering

materials if required. Please ask us if you have any special requests.

product WarrantyAll products in this brochure carry a limited warranty that is dependent on the product selected, product use and fabric selection. Our standard warranty covers the replacement of parts for chairs returned to us for a period of five years from manufacture, based on standard office use (up to 40 hours per week) and inclusive of fabric, but subject to the caveats of wear and tear and inappropriate use or abuse.

There is a reduced limited warranty of three years for chairs in a three-shift or 24/7 work pattern, or for continuous users greater than 120kg for the standard Status products.

However, Humanfactor chairs are designed to be suitable for users up to 150kg and for three-shift or 24/7 work environments. Provided that the appropriate fabric has been selected for 24/7 use then the standard warranty will apply.

For Humanfactor chairs supplied to individuals up to 120kg with a standard (40 hours per week) work pattern, the limited warranty can be extended to ten years.

For Humanfactor chairs supplied to individuals between 120kg and 150kg with a standard (40 hours per week) work pattern, the limited warranty remains at five years.

There are many examples of Status chairs remaining in good order and function for 15 years or more.
