Diocese of Rockford
United in Faith Campaign 2000
The following disbursements were received from the
United in Faith Catholic Schools Endowment and the
United in Faith Religious Education & Youth Ministry Endow-
ment from the Diocese of Rockford.
St. Charles Borromeo School: $8,434.00
This distribution is intended to expand third source funding to
Catholic schools and may be used for various purposes identified
by pastors, educational leaders and/or school boards.
Religious Education: $2,288.00
This distribution is intended to be applied to such expenses as:
ongoing training for directors, coordinators or youth ministers, in-
service for catechists, resource materials, and Adult Faith For-
mation & Family Religious Education.
Thank you for your contributions to the United in Faith Campaign
which began in 2000. Your donations have made a positive im-
pact on our parish and school.
From September 22nd to October 31st, you are invited to join
other Christians for 40 Days for Life – 40 days of prayer and fast-
ing for an end to abortion. You are also invited to stand and
peacefully pray during a 40-day vigil in the public right-of-way
outside the Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Aurora, and
help spread the word about this important community outreach.
SCB Parish will be sponsoring volunteers to pray at the facility
on Tuesday, September 28th. Our goal is to cover the 12 hours of
this day that Planned Parenthood will be open for business (7 AM
to 7 PM) with at least 2 people for each hour. If you would like
more information – and especially if you’d like to volunteer to
help and participate, please contact: Kevin Baxter, 224-400-7046
(cell number), or [email protected].
Weekly Eucharistic Adoration
Need extra alone time with our Lord? Consider an
hour in Adoration on Wednesday, 7:00 – 8:00 pm
and Thursday, 10:00 – 11:00 am. There is no better
way to be close to Him. If interested, contact Susan
Wiland at 847-274-0233 or email [email protected].
Important Update!!
SCB Parish Live Stream Mass
As restrictions are lifting, we will begin to only
stream the 10:30 AM Mass on the first Sunday of
the month. We hope this will allow those who
cannot attend in person a chance to remain connected to the par-
ish. The link to these Masses will be available on the parish web-
site and broadcast via MyParish App. If you subscribe to the St.
Charles Borromeo Church Youtube channel, you will be notified
when the new link is available.
