Galvannealed zinc-iron alloy coating, ZFThe resistance welding properties of Galvannealed coated steels are in a class of their own, thanks to the iron content of the coating. The coating is well suited to painting, resulting in excellent corrosion resistance.
Galfan® zinc-aluminium alloy coating, ZAThe 5 % aluminium alloying of Galfan® coating creates a microstructure that makes the formability of the coating clearly superior and corrosion resistance at least similar to a traditional zinc coating. Galfan® is well suited for demanding deep drawing.
Zinc coating, ZHot dip zinc coating contains minimum 99 % zinc, providing cathodic corrosion protection for steel. The low coating thicknesses are best suited for products with low corrosion exposure. We recommend thick zinc coating for outdoor use.

Ultra high-strength formable multiphase steels
The metal coated ultra high-strength, formable Litec steels are used for applications requiring high cold formability, high strength, good corrosion resistance and structural lightness.
Mechanical properties Table 23.
DP (dual-phase) steels are well suited for stretch forming due to their low yield ratio. CP (complex-phase) steels have a clearly higher yield/tensile strength ratio.

Pural
Pural was developed especially for roofi ng and rain water systems. The lightly structured surface of the is coating is resistant to abrasion and UV radiation. It is easily handled in product manufacturing and installa- tion, and has excellent corrosion resistance.
Pural matt
We added a matt surface to Pural’s excellent proper- ties. This effi ciently eliminates refl ections on plane metal cladding.
PVDF
PVDF is a coating for demanding façades. Its UV andstain resistance are excellent. In addition to metallicand pearlescent colours, our range includes PVDF HBfor demanding corrosion conditions.
Polyester coatings
Polyester is a versatile coating material that lends itself to a variety of uses:
Polyester
Polyester is used for example for indoor partition and ceiling structures, and profi le sheets for outdoor use.Polyester matt
Thanks to its matt surface and formability pro- perties, this coating is well suited, for example, for roofi ng tile sheets.
ColoursOur manufacturing programme includes a wide variety of colours in various degrees of gloss, including metallic colours and pearlescent coloursthat change their shade depending on the refl ectionangle of light. Colour samples of the standard coloursare available in separate colour charts. We also delivercustomer-specifi c colour shades.
•
ARS polyester
Low-gloss, satin fi nish coating developed especially for housing of electrical and electronic devices. Structured polyester
Low-structure, wear-resistant coating for indoor use.
Laminates
We deliver laminate-coated steel sheets for example to food industry production and storage facilities and ship interiors. A wide variety of colours, patterns and surface structures is available.
Reverse side coating
The reverse side of colour coated steels is painted with a double-layer epoxy paint as standard. The material may on request be delivered epoxy coated on both sides for subsequent painting or glueing.
Coating on both sides
On request, the coating may be applied to both sides of the material, each with a different colour if so desired.
Protective fi lm
We can deliver the material with a protective fi lm according to the application and operating conditions.
Coated steels Both cold rolled and hot dip galvanised steels are available with colour coating. Galvanised steeltogether with a colour coating offers excellentcorrosion resistance in conditions where the materialis exposed to atmospheric changes. Cold rolled steels are perfect for products with no corrosion risk.

Coating appearance M Minimized spangle Zinc coated (Z)
R Matt grey Zinc-iron coated (ZF)
Surface quality A As coated surfaceSuitable for normal uses of zinc surfaces. Surface faults, variation in pattern size, dark spots, lines and slight passivating solution stains may appear.
B Improved surfaceImproved surface is obtained by skin passing. Slight surface imperfections may appear.
C Best quality surfaceThe higher quality side is suitable for demanding painting. The other side is at least surface quality B. Temper rolled.
Surface treatment C Chemical passivationThe steel is chemically passivated, which leaves a thin passivation layer on the surface of the steel, preventing zinc oxidation. Cr6+ free passivation also available.
O OilingThe material can be protected with oil, removable with an anti-grease solvent.
CO Chemical passivation and oilingBoth passivation and oiling can be used together if increased protection is required.
S Organic passivationThe surface is coated with a Cr6+ -free thin transparent polymer layer.
