Every homeowner should have received a statement from their respective association. Your annual assessment funds community operations from landscaping to security to streetlights as well as capital improvements. If you need any additional information please contact our management company, PCMI at 281-870-0585. Happy New Year to All! As we enter a new year I want to take this opportunity to thank my fellow Board members for their service: Jim Andrews, David Gerow, Gayle Owens, Regina Abruzzese, Mable Butler, Dean Green, Jon Lavallee, Nace Peard, Dan Carr, Sandra Jordan and Virginia Kelley. They each bring their own knowledge, talents AND personalities in service to the community. We accomplished much in 2006 and look forward to 2007. Special thanks also to our spouses and children. And welcome to new Board members Kathy Dowling (Cobblestone). Steeplechase enjoys exceptional service from a number of vendors, most notably Myla Chandler of PCMI. We are also blessed with volunteers who serve and chair committees: Angel Brigade, Clubhouse, Pool, Playground, Communications, Security and Welcome. Please remember the strength of our community derives from all of us working in a positive way for the betterment of Steeplechase. Betty Hattman, Steeplechase President Holiday Decorations Many thanks to the Morales and Butler families for decorating all of our neighborhood entrance signs. The Winners of Best Decorated Homes for 2006 will be announced in the February newsletter as awards were given after the deadline for this newsletter. Please remove holiday decorations by February 1st. MUD 168 – WCA MUD 168 has informed us that in January WCA will be our new trash collection provider. Ph: (281) 368-8397. Trash Pick-Up will be on WEDNESDAYS AND SATURDAYS. Please have trash out at curb by 7:00 am each pick up day. On each regularly scheduled Wednesday and Saturday collection day, WCA will collect residential refuse located at the curbside; refuse must be either in containers or bags not exceeding 40 gallons or weighing over 40 pounds. RECYCLING ON WEDNESDAYS. For more information see your MUD water bill and log-on to steeplechasetx. com. Residents are reminded not to put trash out until the night BEFORE pick-up. Request for Home Improvement Approval Homeowners are reminded that any improvements affecting the exterior of your home (such as painting, patio covers, fence etc.) need to be approved by your association’s architectural review committee. When space permits the one page approval form will be included in the monthly newsletter. The form is always available on the community website, steeplechasetx.com in “documents.”
