It is hard to believe October is here and we are upon the start of the fall holiday season! I am looking forward to the upcoming weather cool down! Before we know it the snow will be flying. Please take the opportunity to participate in fall activities with your friends and family as the weather allows! The Fall Parade of Homes is almost here and I hope everyone gets a chance to tour several of your peer’s projects. Thank you to all of you who attended the September 3 meeting, which was held at the Lincoln/Lancaster County Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore. We had a fantastic turnout! We had a very informative introduction to the ReStore and the processes they utilize. If you were unable to make it to the meeting I would highly encourage all of you to please visit the ReStore and get to know the ways you can assist with donating and purchasing items for your business or personal use. The next event will be on October 1 which will be held at the HBAL office. We will be touring the office’s recent remodel. The space looks awesome. A big thanks to all of you who participated in assisting with this project. I would like to say thanks for everyone’s support and I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event this fall!
