NEW HOME CARE WARRANTY
Your maintenance plan
� 6 Month’s Minor Defect Maintenance Warranty in accordance with statutory requirements
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS � Contact Ausbuild’s Maintenance
Co-ordinator in writing at 6 months if maintenance works are required
Your Maintenance Supervisor will contact you to inspect your new home maintenance requests
� Maintenance inspection carried out (if required) (Monday to Friday)
� Following the inspection the owner will receive a letter to confirm approved maintenance requests
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS � Meet with Maintenance Supervisor to inspect your
new home
� Maintenance works to be carried out as agreed with you (if required)
� All works will be signed off by you and relevant tradesperson upon completion
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS � Provide access to your new home for maintenance

Electrical layout appointment
� Your New Home Consultant will assist you where necessary and advise you of any potential additional costs
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
� Bring to the appointment a marked up plan showing the locations of all power points, light points and any other requirements noted

Getting started During stages 1-3 all enquiries should be directed to your New Home Consultant. 1
� Pay $2,500 with the Contract Request Form to allow Ausbuild to arrange the drawing of plans and prepare the QMBA contract documentation
� New Home Consultant to provide you with a suggested standard Electrical Plan layout to assist you to prepare for Step 2
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS � Start thinking about your electrical requirements
using the standard electrical plan supplied � Start thinking about internal colour schemes
Note: A $300 portion of your initial deposit of $2,500 is non refundable.

Fixing stage
� Plaster linings installed � Kitchen and vanities (excluding CaesarStone benchtops) � Wall tiling and stairs installed � Internal fix completed � Fixing stage complete

� Progress payment (Fixing – 18%) to be authorised by you and forwarded to lending institution

Practical completion stage
� Painting and floor tiling complete. All electrical, plumbing, heating and vacuum systems fitted off. Shower screens, mirrors and splashbacks installed. Door furniture, robe rails etc. to be installed.
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS � Progress payment (Practical Completion – 10%) to be
authorised by you and forwarded to lending institution

Processing your QMBA contract
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS � Refer to Colour Selection pack to choose
preferred options and visit nominated suppliers for floor tiles, carpet, benchtop and paint options, prior to selections appointment
� Finalise electrical layout � Liaise with Ausbuild in relation to finance approval and
land settlement dates � Contact your New Home Consultant for any variations
required
Your Colour Consultant will contact you to arrange your Colour Selection appointment.
During this time your Contract Administrators will contact you in relation to finance, deposits and land ownership
Note: Approx time frame for Stage 3 is 4 to 10 weeks depending on project specifics*

Preparing your house for site start
During this time your Contracts Administrators will contact you as required in relation to finance, deposits and land ownership
Note: All variations or item deletions must be completed by this stage. All Attached dwellings to reach this stage prior to construction commencing

Your house is now ready to start construction
� File transferred to Construction department for site start
PaymentAll progress payments are as per QMBA recommended payment schedule on page 8/9 of your QMBA Residential Building Contract
These progress payments total 100% including Client’s 5% deposit already paid

� Ausbuild counter-signs the QMBA Contract � Variations and plan alterations prepared and forwarded
to relevant departments to process � Copies of all documents forwarded to you and your
