STEVE JOB’S SCHOOL OF
MAKING A GREAT APP
What made him successful in
developing elegantly designed OS and gadgets that the world use today..
What principles do we have to use in developing the
app?
#1: Have a Clear Vision
Before hiring a programmer or
naming your app, make sure to have a clear
and solid vision first.
You don’t need to undergo a series of epiphanies in order to have a clear
vision..
It is often tied up with your PASSION.
When you are in tuned with your passion, it is a lot easier to envision your goal. Make
your App’s vision!!
“If you are working on something
exciting that you really care about, you don't have to be pushed. The
vision pulls you.” -Steve
#2: Focus. Focus. Focus
The unequivocal focus of Steve has became reason why Apple regained its
success as the most innovative company.
“Innovation is saying no to 1,000 things.” –
Steve
Focus is crucial—
--Most essentially in the initial stages of
your app development.
by being focused--
• You pay attention to each and every detail of your app project.
• Address the most important elements.
“People think focus means saying yes to the thing you've got to focus on. But that's not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully. I'm actually as proud of the things we haven't done as the things I have done. Innovation is saying no to
1,000 things.” – Steve
#3: Aim for excellence. Never compromise!
Steve’s attention to detail stemmed from his innate need to excel. He
never compromised.
Do not ignore all aspects of the app. Even the font you choose should matter!
Never say, “It’s good enough!” Always push the
boundaries.
…aiming for excellence is your best bet to stand out.
#4: Simplicity is sophistication.
When it comes to design —Simplicity is Steve’s guiding principle.
It is the ultimate form of Sophistication.
Simplicity also results to an intuitive User Interface.
The bottom line is….
--people will always favor an app that is simple and
seamless.
So, either you wish to make a dent in the universe or create something useful with
your app.
Steve’s principles are
worth to consider!
