Our predecessors gave generously of their time, talent and treasure. All of these efforts, including the creation of a significant endowment, were undertaken with an eye toward the future. TRINITY Cathedral TODAYTrinity is a unique and thriving community of individuals and families that welcomes everyone, regardless of where they are on their faith journey. Our historic landmark building, completed in 1907, offers a warm and inviting space where we come in large and small groups to worship, question, learn, rejoice, mourn and support each other.

We are committed to creating a sustainable space that offers inclusive, welcoming hospitality, as together we engage with our community in striving for peace and justice in a complex and interconnected world.

PREPARING FOR A THIRD CENTURYOver the past several months we have embarked on a journey to prepare for the celebration of our third century. In addition to making plans to celebrate Trinity’s Bicentennial, conversations about launching a capital campaign have begun. With a spirit of hope and expectation, our combined efforts will enable Trinity Cathedral to flourish for generations to come.

The Episcopal Church Foundation (“ECF”) has been engaged as fundraising counsel. It will assist in the process of Discernment and conduct a Feasibility Study to determine the level of support for a proposed capital campaign during Trinity’s Bicentennial year.

DISCERNMENT– CONVERSATIONS ABOUT NEEDS

Preparation for a proposed capital campaign requires the refinement of what combination of projects meets the needs of Trinity’s faith community. Through a Discernment process grounded in prayer, input from everyone is welcomed, and is essential to the the development of a common understanding of why a capital campaign is being considered. A list of proposed projects that emerges from Discernment conversations may then be formally tested in a Feasibility Study.

After much deliberation, the Vestry offers the following projects for your input during our DISCERNMENT.
