Trainer J Robinson informed Stewards that the greyhound had been let out in a day yard this morning and whilst in the yard had been attacked by a kangaroo. The greyhound was presented on course, and on examination, was found to have sustained a sizeable laceration to the neck region, and deemed unfit to race.

months, with the trial duplicating as a weight trial. The greyhound was deemed to have not trialled
satisfactorily, and was not cleared to resume racing.
As today’s meeting has Metro classification with increased prizemoney levels, the winners of Races 5
to 11 inclusive, will be sampled per GRNSW Swabbing Policy, due to the monetary thresholds.

MILLARRO( 5 ) jumped smartly and led throughout. SPECIAL BABE( 1 ) , and RANGA( 4 ) were slow to begin. AUDREY’S MATE( 3 ) raced wide approaching the turn into the back straight, hampering ROBBO’S REDZONE( 6 ), causing ROBBO’S REDZONE( 6 ) to lose ground checking ROCKET RIDE( 8 ), which also lost ground. LOJAY NAITANUI( 7 ) raced wide in the back straight hampering ROBBO’S REDZONE( 6 ). SPECIAL BABE( 1 ) , and ROCKET RIDE( 8 ) came together approaching the turn out of the back straight when racing at the rear of the field, both losing ground. AUDREY’S MATE( 3 ) raced greenly approaching the home turn, hampering RANGA( 4 ). The winner of this event MILLARRO( 5 ) was locked away for a Urine Sample to be obtained at the Direction of Stewards.

In two separate incidents soon after the start, TWO CROWS( 2 ) crossed sharply to the rails checking GUNDAL MADONNA( 1 ), which lost ground, and WATKINS GLEN( 4 ) raced wide checking FIRE CREEK( 7 ), and RAEKEY( 8 ). GUNDAL MADONNA( 1 ) was checked off the heels of RHYNO’S LADY( 6 ) approaching the first turn, causing GUNDAL MADONNA( 1 ) to race wide abruptly and collide with RAEKEY( 8 ). From this incident RAEKEY( 8 ) fell and failed to finish, and GUNDAL MADONNA( 1 ) lost considerable ground. RHYNO’S LADY( 6 ) struck the running rail approaching the turn out of the back straight, losing ground. Shortly after, GUNDAL MADONNA( 1 ) galloped on the back of RHYNO’S LADY( 6 ), with both runners losing significant ground, tailing out.
