Replace the front cover and plug the unit into an electrical outlet where you want to use it. Turn the switch on. WHERE TO USE THE PLUG IN FLY LIGHT Do not place it where water will splash on it or in direct sunlight. CHANGING THE STICKY SHEET When the sticky sheet is full of insects, turn the switch off and remove the trap from the electrical outlet. Remove the front cover and the sticky sheet. Dispose of the sheet in your normal trash. Avoiding contact with the insects is a good idea since you don’t know where they have been. The adhesive is non-toxic. CHANGING THE BULB Turn the switch off and remove the trap from the electric outlet. Take the front cover off and remove the sticky sheet. Screw out the old bulb and replace it with a new one. Put the sticky sheet back in the trap and replace the front cover. Plug the trap in and turn the switch on. Bulb and sticky sheet replacement are the only two customer services authorized on PIIT1000 . HELPING THE PLUG IN FLY LIGHT Placing a ripe banana or other odorous items near the unit will increase its effectiveness. Cider vinegar is attractive to fruit flies.
