2. This first still is a long shot to show all the members of the family in one scene to show how happy and peaceful they are, the equilibrium of the trailer. The effect that this trailer has is that it makes the audience feel that there is a happy moment within this movie, while its all tranquil. 3. This next still image is a two-shot which shows one of the three antagonist peering at an unsuspecting member of the family through a window. The effect of this shot is that it creates a sense of fear and tension, as we now know the antagonists, wearing the masks are stalking this family and now we know what they look like too. 4. This next still shows one member of the family who has just been shot in the head by a crossbow bolt and the other members of the in shock of the situation. The effect that this causes is that it brings in the first real scenes of violence and the faces and emotion of the others witnessing these events are shocked and fearful, also gives the audience that feeling too. 5. This next still is an establishing shot of the house of which the event of this movie take place. In the order of the trailer this still takes place immediately after the electric is turned off, causing fear and caution throughout the household. 6. This low angled shot of one of the antagonist is a shot that asserts dominance in the scene, making the audience know who is in control and superior in the movie. The effect of this is that with the masked antagonist it may create a uneasy feeling for the audience because masked antagonists always create fear. 7. This two-shot is a still of a dead member of the family (left) and one of the antagonists. This shot is probably what one of the other members of the family will see and that would create fear and frighten them, as it probably would the audience. 8. This POV shot shows the eye line of one of the antagonists as they are looking down the crosshairs of a crossbow, about to shoot one of the family members. The intension of this shot, I think, is show the audience what weapon they are using, incase there was any confusion.
