Ambassador Lincoln P. Bloomfield, Jr., became Stimson’s chairman in 2008. He has more than 30 years of experience in foreign policy and national security issues, dealing with multilateral and bilateral security cooperation, military access arrangements, arms transfers, and controlling unsecured weapons and munitions. Bloomfield served as a Presidential Special Envoy from 2008 to 2009, leading US efforts to limit the availability of shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles to extremist groups. He was assistant secretary of state for Political-Military Affairs from 2001 to 2005, additionally serving as the President’s and Secretary of State’s special representative for Humanitarian Mine Action. He previously served as a Pentagon, White House, and State Department official.

Bloomfield is founder and president of Palmer Coates LLC; senior advisor at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP; operating advisor at Pegasus Capital Advisors, LP; senior advisor to ZeroBase Energy LLC; and chairman of Bell Pottinger Communications USA LLC.

Bloomfield is a 1974 graduate of Harvard College, and received an MA in 1980 from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

Thinkers & DoersStimson is continually seeking better ways to integrate key analytic information, and making it accessible to a broad audience of practitioners. In the last year, our experts have published 17 books and reports, and broadened the use of new media platforms. Examples of our recent off erings include an active Twitter account that continues to gain followers; interactive maps of the Mekong River that merge political and economic data into a dynamic format; and the Pathfi nder, an interactive tool set up to assist developing countries fi nd funding for their security needs using UN1540. In addition, Stimson’s Chairman’s Forums, strategic conversations led by Ambassador Lincoln Bloomfi eld, Jr., are available online via video links.

Stimson as the namesake for our new center because he embodied the traits of international engagement, bipartisanship, and a track record on the issues of war and peace, nuclear weapons, and regional security that were our focus. Stimson convenes offi cial and unoffi cial gatherings in the US and in cities around the world, fosters dialogue across borders and disciplines, engages in collaborative research, and continually seeks out emerging policy thinkers.

Our Visiting Fellows Program brings journalists, military offi cers, researchers, and academics to live and work in residence at Stimson, typically for two to three months, sometimes for a full year. Fellows—many from key Asian countries—have contributed exceptional research, deepened their own insights into US policy and processes and, in several cases, have gone on to establish new research organizations in their home countries.

Ellen Laipson is president and chief executive officer of Stimson. She also directs the Middle East/Southwest Asia project, and focuses in particular on security issues in the Gulf region. Laipson joined Stimson in 2002, after 25 years of government service. Key positions included vice chair of the National Intelligence Council (NIC) (1997-2002), and special assistant to the US permanent representative to the United Nations (1995-97). At the NIC, Laipson co-managed the interdisciplinary study “Global Trends 2015,” and directed the NIC’s outreach to think tanks and research organizations on a wide range of national security topics.

Laipson’s earlier government career focused on analysis and policymaking on Middle East and South Asian issues. She was the director for Near East and South Asian Affairs for the National Security Council (1993-95), national intelligence officer for Near and South Asia

(1990-93), a member of the State Department’s policy planning staff (1986-87), and a specialist in Middle East affairs for the Congressional Research Service.

Laipson is a frequent speaker on Middle East issues, and on US foreign policy and global trends. She served on the board of Education for Employment from 2003 to 2011, and currently serves on the board of the Asia Foundation and the International Advisory Council of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). In late 2009, President Obama named Laipson to the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board and in 2011, was named to the Secretary of State’s Foreign Affairs Policy Board.

Laipson has an MA from the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, and a BA from Cornell University.

Ellen Laipson President & Chief Executive Officer

Cheryl Ramp is the executive vice president and chief operating officer at Stimson. She joined Stimson in 1999 to expand the institution’s capacity, stability, and impact. She oversees day-to-day management, including development, communications, finance, and human resources. Drawing on her experience in program management and strategic planning, Ramp works to build a cohesive team culture and increase institutional effectiveness. Ramp also has conducted research on the impact of think tanks on public policy, as well as training programs to build the capacity of civil-society leaders in the US and abroad.

Prior to joining Stimson, Ramp was vice president for public affairs, development, and planning at Youth for Understanding (YFU) International Exchange. During her 11-year tenure with YFU, Ramp was responsible for fund development with corporate, foundation,

Ramp also provided communications, development, and strategic guidance to trade and labor groups, arts organizations, and political campaigns as an account executive with the Kamber Group, and Hartnett & Associates, both Washington-based public relations management firms. Ramp worked for Congressman Les Aspin (D-WI) on Capitol Hill and in his district, and for Vice President Walter F. Mondale during his 1984 presidential campaign.

Ramp holds a BA in philosophy from Beloit College, and recently completed an executive leadership program at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Gordon Adams is a distinguished fellow and the director of the Budgeting for Foreign Affairs and Defense program at Stimson. He is also a professor in the US foreign policy field at American University. Adams was most recently a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. For the previous seven years, he was a professor at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, and director of the Elliott School’s Security Policy Studies Program.

Adams was previously deputy director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London, and served for five years as the associate director for National Security and International Affairs at the Office of Management and Budget as the senior White

House budget official for national security. He has been an international affairs fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, and received the Department of Defense medal for distinguished public service.

Adams has published books, monographs, and articles on defense and national security policy, the defense policy process, and on national security budgets. He has testified numerous times before Congress on defense spending and national security issues, and writes columns for major media outlets, including a monthly column for the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

Adams holds a BA in political science from Stanford University, and earned an MA and PhD in political science from Columbia University.

Gordon Adams Distinguished Fellow

Johan Bergenäs is a research analyst and deputy director of the Managing Across Boundaries program. His areas of expertise include the relationship between security and development, proliferation, illicit trade networks, terrorism, transnational crime, and public/private sector partnerships.

Prior to joining Stimson in 2010, Bergenäs worked at the Monterey Institute’s James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies for four years, analyzing regional and international proliferation issues and trends. He was a member of Oxfam America’s humanitarian policy and communications teams covering development and conflict issues in the Middle East and Africa.

Johan Bergenäs Research Analyst/Deputy Director

Bergenäs worked as a reporter and freelance journalist, and covered a range of international and US domestic issues, including presidential politics. He has published in inter alia, Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, National Geographic Traveler, the Guardian, and appeared on BBC, Al Jazeera, and PRI. Bergenäs is also a featured contributor to Dr. Hans Blix’s website, www.blixassociates.com.

Bergenäs holds an honors MA from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and an honors BA from the University of Iowa.

Barry Blechman Co-founder/Distinguished Fellow

Dr. Barry Blechman is the co-founder of Stimson, and a distinguished fellow focused on nuclear disarmament. He was chair of Stimson’s board from 1989 to 2007.

Blechman has nearly 50 years of distinguished service in national security, in both the public and private sectors. He is an expert on political and military policies, military strategy, and defense budgets and industries. Blechman has served in the Departments of State and Defense, and at the Office of Management and Budget. Among other boards and commissions, Blechman served on the Commission to Assess the Ballistic Missile Threat to the United States

(1998-99), the Defense Policy Board (2002-06), and the Department of State Advisory Committee on Transformational Diplomacy (2005-08). Blechman founded DFI International Inc., a research consultancy, in 1984 and served as its CEO until 2007. In prior years, he worked at the Center for Naval Analyses, the Brookings Institution, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Blechman holds a PhD in international relations from Georgetown University, has written extensively on national security issues, and has taught at several universities.

Richard Cronin Senior Associate

Dr. Richard Cronin is a senior associate and director of the Southeast Asia program at Stimson. He joined Stimson in 2005 after a long career as an Asian Affairs specialist with the Congressional Research Service (CRS) of the Library of Congress.

Cronin currently focuses on transboundary water uses in Southeast Asia and Asia-wide issues affecting US policy, regional relations, development and security from a political economy perspective. He has testified before Congress on Mekong hydropower issues, South China Sea maritime territorial disputes, and political developments in Thailand, and given presentations at numerous seminars and workshops in Washington and Asia on these and other issues affecting Southeast Asia. In

July 2011, under his leadership, Stimson held an interactive workshop in Bangkok entitled “Shared River, Shared Future” that involved participants from five Mekong countries.

Cronin has taught Asian comparative political economy at Washington-area universities and Chuo University in Japan, and lectures frequently at the Foreign Service Institute and in Southeast Asia. He received his PhD from Syracuse University with a focus on the history and political development of South Asia. He also served with the US Army in Vietnam.

Dr. William Durch is a senior associate and the director of Stimson’s Future of Peace Operations program. Prior to joining Stimson in 1990, Durch served as a foreign affairs officer with the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency, a research fellow at the Harvard Center for Science and International Affairs, and assistant director of the Defense and Arms Control Studies program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Since joining Stimson, he has been seconded as a scientific advisor to the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and served as project director for the panel on United Nations Peace Operations (the Brahimi Report). Durch also serves as a consultant to the International

Forum on Challenges of Peace Operations, and for the United Nations on projects focused on improving the effectiveness of peacekeeping at headquarters and in the field. He has taught courses on international organizations and peacekeeping at the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University; at the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University; and the Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University.

Durch holds a PhD from MIT, an MA from George Washington University, and a BS from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

Brian Finlay is a senior associate and the director of Stimson’s Managing Across Boundaries program, which focuses on proliferation, illicit trafficking, and other transnational threats.

Prior to joining Stimson in January 2005, he served four years as executive director of a lobbying and media campaign focused on counterterrorism issues, a senior researcher at the Brookings Institution, and a program officer at the Century Foundation. Finlay was a project manager for the Laboratory Center for Disease Control/Health Canada, and worked with the Department of Foreign

He sits on the advisory board of Trojan Defense, LLC, and is a member of the Board of Directors of iMMAP, a pioneering organization leading the way forward in the effective use of information management practices in the service of humanitarian relief and development.

Dr. Julie Fischer is a senior associate and directs Stimson’s Global Health Security program. Fischer is a former Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellow and American Association for the Advancement of Science Congressional Fellow.

As professional staff with the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Fischer worked on issues related to medical emergency preparedness, and the consequences of biological, chemical, and radiological exposures during military service.

Fischer served as a senior research fellow at the University of Washington/Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, and an independent consultant to a Thai-US collaboration aimed at strengthening Thai capacity to identify and control emerging infections of regional and global significance.

Alison GiffenSenior Associate

Alison Giffen is a senior associate and deputy director of Stimson’s Future of Peace Operations program. She leads the Civilians in Conflict project, which aims to increase global preparedness to prevent and respond to violence against civilians, including in its most extreme manifestation—mass atrocity and genocide.

Giffen joined Stimson in 2009 with more than a dozen years of research and advocacy experience related to human rights and humanitarian crises. Giffen previously served as an advocacy and strategy coordinator for Oxfam in Sudan, where she led the design and implementation of the organization’s global strategy to secure civilians’ rights to protection

and assistance. As a policy analyst for the Open Society Institute, Giffen promoted multilateral US foreign engagement and US support of UN reform initiatives. She was project director of a groundbreaking study on ex-combatants in Sierra Leone, and was the founding director of the US Office on Colombia, an international coalition of groups promoting peace and human rights in Colombia.

Giffen received her MA in international affairs from the School for International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, and her BA in diplomacy and world affairs from Occidental College.

Vibhuti Haté Research Analyst

Vibhuti Haté is a research analyst in the Global Health Security program. Haté has more than five years of substantive health-related research experience working in low- and middle—income countries. She has worked on a wide array of issues including the economic impact of chronic diseases; health reform in Brazil, India, and China; aging populations in middle-income countries; health challenges in Russia; and HIV/AIDS in South Asia. At the Stimson Center, Haté provides technical assistance on health financing and policy issues, costing models,

and economic evaluation with a focus on the International Health Regulations [IHR (2005)].

Prior to joining Stimson, Haté was a researcher at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and worked on major public health challenges and policy trends in South Asia.

Haté received an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, an MA in International Public Affairs from the University of Wisconsin—Madison, and a BA from Lawrence University.

Sarah Kornblet Research Fellow

Sarah Kornblet is a research fellow for Stimson’s Global Health Security program. Her research focuses on the International Health Regulations, health systems strengthening, global health diplomacy, the intersection of public health and security, and the potential for innovative and dynamic health policy solutions in developing countries.

Michael Krepon Co-founder/Distinguished Fellow

Michael Krepon is co-founder of Stimson, and director of the South Asia and Space Security programs.

He has championed a code of conduct for space as well as confidence-building and nuclear risk-reduction measures between India and Pakistan. The space code of conduct has been endorsed by the Obama administration and the European Union. India and Pakistan have agreed to several confidence building measures (CBMs) championed by Stimson. Krepon also has mentored more than 70 visiting fellows from the region.

Krepon is the author or editor of 13 books and 400 articles. Prior to co-founding Stimson, he worked at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the State Department

Nancy Langer is director of External Relations for Stimson. She oversees communications and development, with an eye to broadening Stimson’s global brand and policy reach.

Langer has worked on four continents for humanitarian causes. As director of development for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees from 2002–2007, she launched the AID DARFUR campaign, involving Meryl Streep, Tony Bennett, and bestselling author Khaled Hosseini. In the 1990s, Langer focused on women’s health and rights projects with the United States Agency for International Development in Romania and

Egypt, and with the United Nations Population Fund in the Philippines and Outer Mongolia.

Langer served on the senior staff of Planned Parenthood of New York City, and was associate director of Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund during the early years of the AIDS crisis. Langer has been interviewed in the International Herald Tribune, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and other media outlets.

Langer received a BA from Goucher College, and studied at New York University.

Matthew LeathermanResearch Analyst

Matthew Leatherman is a research analyst with Stimson’s Budgeting for Foreign Affairs and Defense program. He advised a bipartisan, blue-ribbon debt reduction panel co-chaired by Dr. Alice Rivlin and Senator Pete Domenici on options to reduce national security costs by aligning strategy and spending.

Leatherman began his career at DFI—Government Services, a national security consultancy. He managed portfolios related to security cooperation, especially with former-Warsaw Pact states, and quantitative research. Additionally, Leatherman contributed to the editing of Power Rules at the Council on Foreign Relations. He designed statistical

methodologies for the Fund for Peace and its Failed States Index, and gathered data on coalition operations for the US Embassy in Macedonia.

Leatherman is a routine contributor to the BFAD project blog, The Will and the Wallet, a frequent voice in the media on defense strategy and spending, and a researcher on several projects.

Leatherman has a BA in political science and American history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an MA in international affairs from Columbia University.

David Michel is a senior associate and director of the Environmental Security program. His work explores the emerging governance challenges and international security risks posed by global environmental change.

Michel has written widely on the international impacts and implications of global warming, the complexities of multi-party decision-making, and on the possibilities for collective institutions to address common environmental problems. He has advised the Departments of Defense, Energy, State, and the National Intelligence Council on water scarcity, environmental security, and climate policy

Prior to joining Stimson in 2008, he served as senior associate with the Center for Transatlantic Relations and Johns Hopkins University.

Michel holds a BA in political science from Yale University, an MA in social sciences from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris, and did his doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.

Stephanie PorterDirector of Human Resources

Stephanie Porter serves as the director of human resources for Stimson. In this role, she manages the entire human resource function at the Center.

Porter has more than 11 years of varied human resources experience working with non-profits, public, and private sectors. Before joining Stimson in 2009, Porter was a senior human resources manager for Erickson Living. While at Erickson, Porter provided support to more than 400 employees, including the CIO and CFO. Porter also developed the strategic human resource plan for the information technology department, and launched several instrumental projects including first-time supervising training and employee self-service.

Before her work with Erickson, she served as a human resource generalist for Honeywell International, and worked on several key projects including the acquisitions team. While part of the acquisitions team, Porter assisted with employee engagement by traveling around the country to meet with newly acquired employees. Porter also worked on the team to development a Six Sigma process for company acquisitions.

Porter holds a BS in business from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, an MS in human resources development and training from Amberton University in Dallas, Texas, and a professional in human resource certification since 2005.

Alan Romberg is a distinguished fellow and the director of the East Asia program at Stimson.

Before joining Stimson in September 2000, he enjoyed a distinguished career working on Asian issues, both in and out of government, including 20 years as a US Foreign Service Officer. Romberg was the principal deputy director of the State Department’s Policy Planning staff and deputy spokesman of the department. He served in various capacities dealing with East Asia, including director of the Office of Japanese Affairs, member of the Policy Planning staff

for East Asia, and staff member at the National Security Council for China. He served overseas in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Additionally, Romberg spent almost 10 years as the CV Starr Senior Fellow for Asian Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, and was special assistant to the Secretary of the Navy.

Romberg holds an MA from Harvard University, and a BA from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.

Russell Rumbaugh is a research fellow and director of the Budgeting for Foreign Affairs and Defense program. Before joining Stimson, Rumbaugh was the defense analyst on the Senate Budget Committee covering both the 050 Defense and 150 International Affairs accounts of the US government budget.

Rumbaugh also served as military legislative assistant for Congressman Jim Cooper from Tennessee, and was the lead staffer for Congressman Cooper as chairman of the House Armed Services Committee’s Panel on Roles and Missions. In this role, he helped to produce the report Initial Perspectives in February 2008.

Additionally, Rumbaugh served as an operations research analyst in the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s program Analysis and Evaluation, a military analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency, and an infantry officer in the US Army, resigning with the rank of Captain.

Rachel Stohl Fellow

Rachel Stohl is a fellow at Stimson with the Managing Across Boundaries program. Her areas of expertise focus on issues relating to the international arms trade, including small arms and light weapons, as well as children and armed conflict.

Prior to joining Stimson, Stohl was an associate fellow at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, and a senior analyst at the Center for Defense Information in Washington, DC. Stohl has been a consultant for many international organizations, including Oxfam, SIPRI, the Small Arms Survey, and World Vision. She served as a Scoville Fellow at the British American Security Information Council, and worked at the United Nations Center for Disarmament Affairs, and the Program for Arms Control, Disarmament,

and Conversion in Monterey, CA. Stohl has also been an adjunct professor at Georgetown University. She has appeared in numerous documentaries, including “Making a Killing: Inside the International Arms Trade,” in the feature film Lord of War.

Stohl is currently the consultant to the UN Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) process and was previously the consultant to the UN Group of Governmental Experts (GGE) on the ATT in 2008 and the UN Register for Conventional Arms in 2009.

Stohl holds an MA in international policy studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and an honors BA in political science and German from the University of Wisconsin—Madison.

Yuki Tatsumi Senior Associate

Yuki Tatsumi is a senior associate with the East Asia program. Her research career in Northeast Asian security also began at Stimson, when she joined the Center as a research associate in 2000.

Tatsumi was a research associate at the International Security program of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in 2001, where she focused on Northeast Asian security issues. Since her departure from CSIS, she continues to serve as an adjunct fellow. Tatsumi served at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC, from 1996 to 1999, as special assistant for political affairs. During her assignment, she monitored key developments in US policy toward Asia. Tatsumi also testified before the House Committee on International Relations in September 2007.

Her analyses on Japanese security policy, Japanese defense policy, the US-Japan alliance, and Japanese domestic politics frequently appear in the PacNet newsletter, CSIS Japan Watch, Japan Digest, Japan Times, and the International Herald Tribune. She has contributed articles to Japanese journals, including Ronza and Sekai Shuho. She also appears frequently in CNN International, Voice of America, BBC International, and CNBC-Asia.

Elizabeth VanDerWoude is director of finance at Stimson. Mona Yacoubian is a senior advisor in the Middle East/Southwest Asia program, and directs its Pathways to Progress project. She previously served as a special advisor and senior program officer on the Middle East at the US Institute of Peace, where her work focused on Lebanon and Syria, as well as broader issues related to democratization in the Arab world.

Yacoubian has worked as a consultant on the Middle East for several years. From 1990-97, she served as the North Africa analyst at the US Department of State.

Mona Yacoubian Senior Advisor

Yacoubian is a frequent commentator on the Arab world and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Syria (1985-86), and held an International Affairs Fellowship with the Council on Foreign Relations.

Caitlyn Antrim Executive Director, Rule of Law Committee for the Oceans

Caitlyn Antrim researches the future of the oceans, the arctic, and the environment. Her experience as a diplomat at the Law of the Sea Conference and the UN Conference on Environment and Development reinforce her capability as an analyst of regimes for the international commons. Her current areas of research are the geopolitics of Arctic governance, and the implementation of the Law of the Sea Convention.

Richard Cincotta Demographer-in-Residence

Dr. Richard Cincotta is a political demographer whose research focuses on the demographic transition and human migration, and their relationships to political, economic, and environmental change. His publications on these topics have appeared in Foreign Policy, Nature, and Science magazines. He contributed to the National Intelligence Council’s most recent global futuring exercise, Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World (2009) and the Geneva Declaration Secretariat’s Global Burden of Armed Violence (2008).

Mark Ely Air Force Fellow

Lieutenant Colonel Mark Ely is the Air Force Fellow at Stimson. He is a Command Pilot with more than 3200 fl ying hours in the B-52. Colonel Ely previously served as Deputy Commander, 5th Operations Group, and Commander, 23d Bomb Squadron, Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, where he was responsible for providing combat-ready B-52 aircrews for strategic deterrence, crisis response, global power projection, and major theater operational missions.

O’Neil Hamilton Visiting Fellow

O’Neil Hamilton is a visiting fellow in the Managing Across Boundaries program. He also serves as the regional nonproliferation coordinator for the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). Hamilton was a special advisor to CARICOM’s Ministerial Subcommittee on Resource Mobilization for Crime and Security, an advisor to the Council of Ministers Responsible for National Security and Law Enforcement, and a special advisor to Jamaica’s Minister of National Security. Hamilton served two tours at the Jamaican embassy in Washington DC, and was his country’s representative at 5th Evaluation Round of the Multilateral Evaluation Mechanism (MEM) of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD).

Syed Iqbal Hasnain Consultant

Syed Iqbal Hasnain researches climate change and Himalayan glaciers. He currently serves as chairman of the Glacier and Climate Change Commission established by the State Government of Sikkim (India). Hasnain also has been a member of the United Nations Environment Program Committee on Global Assessment of Black Carbon and Troposphere Ozone, and the International Mid-Term Review Committee commissioned to review the International Center for Mountain and Research Development (ICIMOD) in Kathmandu, Nepal. Hasnain was awarded the Padma Shri for his contributions to advancing the science of glaciology in India in 2009 by the President of India.

Rupert Herbert-Burn sConsultant

Rupert Herbert-Burns is a maritime security expert and consultant for shipping, security, off shore energy, and analytic organizations in the UK, US, and Europe. He provides ISPS Code consultation and at-sea security risk surveys for vessels and off shore operations in the Gulf of Aden/Horn of Africa, West Africa, the Persian Gulf, and Southeast Asia. He is now a serving offi cer in the Royal Naval Reserve, and works at the Defense Intelligence and Security Center (Chicksands), with fl eet operations in Portsmouth, and at the Ministry of Defense in London.

Allen Moore Senior Advisor

Allen Moore has been a senior advisor to the Global Health Security program since 2009. He is also a lecturer in Global Health at George Washington University and a regular participant in the weekly BlogRadio program, Backroom Politics. He has more than 35 years of senior-level experience in the White House, US Senate, two federal agencies, and the private sector. He was under secretary of Commerce for International Trade under President Reagan. As policy director for former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, M.D. (R-TN), Moore played a key role in developing the 2003 legislation authorizing President Bush’s global HIV/AIDS program, PEPFAR.

Our offi ces are an easy two- to three-block walk from the Metro stations at Dupont Circle or Farragut North (Red Line), or Farragut West (Orange/Blue Line).

For visitors arriving by car, public parking is located in our building and can be accessed from 19th Street, which is one-way heading southbound.
