7 Traits of Joyful Stewardship

Thoughts from: The Heart That Gives by Fr Thomas J Connery 3. Compassionate a. “Extending your hand is extending yourself.” Rod McKuen b. We are writing our own obituary by the life we lead right now. How does it describe us? c. Do you live the life of the teachings of Jesus Christ? The night before he died, he washed the feet of his apostles. He calls us to become the servant like him. d. Living this life for others in the spirit of servant-hood is to live beyond ourselves. Think of others first. e. Match your interests with an opportunity to serve. You don’t need to be highly skilled, just very willing to be used by God. f. Practice: Determine what your gifts and talents are and where you believe God can use you. Then donate your services to that cause.

Volunteer needed to be secretary for Pastoral Council meetings. They normally meet the 4th Wednesday of the month, 6:30—8:30pm. If inter-ested, please contact the parish office, 926-7133
