Changes to Bus and Coach ServicesAll services will operate to their normal timetables, although delays may be possible at times due to traffic congestion.
Other than in Stockton Town Centre, buses will serve their normal routes and stops, with the following exceptions:
Arriva service 15Thursday 23 June (0900 – 2100):
• The service will be split into two parts in Stockton Town Centre with buses to/from Roseworth terminating in Prince Regent Street and buses to/from Thornaby and Ingleby Barwick terminating in Bridge Road at Chandlers Wharf, adjacent to Burger King. Through passengers will need to walk between these stops.
• In Ingleby Barwick, the normal stop at The Rings will not be served. Buses will instead stop on the opposite side of The Rings in the layby on the west side of the Apsley Way roundabout.
Sunday 26 June (0900 – 2100):
• Buses to Thornaby will operate non-stop between Stockton (Prince Regent Street) and Thornaby Station. A temporary bus stop will be in use at Thornaby Station, outside the Town Hall. Passengers for Chandlers Wharf should change at Thornaby Station onto services 15, 36, 36A, 37, 38, X12 or X66 or walk from Stockton (Prince Regent Street)
Arriva service 21AThursday 23 June (0900 – 2100):
• Buses will operate non-stop in both directions between Middlesbrough Bus Station and Stockton (Prince Regent Street). Passengers for Bon Lea, Thornaby Station and Chandlers Wharf should use shuttle service 36A.
Stagecoach services 36, 37 and 38Thursday 23 June (0900 – 2100):
• Buses from Middlesbrough Bus Station will be diverted and serve all stops via Newport Road, Tees (Newport) Bridge Approach Road and Portrack Lane to Stockton (Norton Road). Passengers for stops between Stockton Road and Chandlers Wharf should use shuttle service 36A, changing at Newport Roundabout or Middlesbrough Bus Station if necessary.
• Buses to Middlesbrough will operate from Stockton (Norton Road) serving all stops via Portrack Lane, Tees (Newport) Bridge Approach Road and Newport Road. Passengers for stops between Chandlers Wharf and Stockton Road should use shuttle service 36A, changing at Newport Roundabout or Middlesbrough Bus Station if necessary.
Sunday 26 June (0900 – 2100):
• Buses to Middlesbrough will operate from Stockton (Norton Road) serving all stops via Portrack Lane, Tees (Newport) Bridge Approach Road and Newport Road. Passengers for stops between Chandlers Wharf and Stockton Road should change at Newport Roundabout or Middlesbrough Bus Station onto services 36, 36A, 37 or 38. Passengers wishing to travel from these stops towards Middlesbrough should use shuttle service 36A.
Go North East services X7 and X10Thursday 23 June (0900 – 2100) and Sunday 26 June (all day):
• Buses will operate non-stop in both directions between Middlesbrough Bus Station and Stockton (Norton Road). Passengers for Teesdale should change at Middlesbrough Bus Station to/from shuttle service 36A (for stops at Middlesbrough Road, Thornaby Station or Yale Crescent) or walk from Stockton (Norton Road).
Arriva service X12Thursday 23 June (0900 – 2100):
• Buses will operate non-stop in both directions between Middlesbrough Bus Station and Stockton (Prince Regent Street). Passengers for Teesdale or Chandlers Wharf should change at Middlesbrough Bus Station to/from shuttle service 36A (for stops at Middlesbrough Road, Thornaby Station, Chandlers Wharf or Yale Crescent) or walk from Stockton Town Centre.
Sunday 26 June (0900 – 2100):
• Buses in both directions between Middlesbrough and Stockton (Prince Regent Street) will omit Teesdale, stopping instead at Thornaby Station (Mandale Road). At Thornaby Station, buses towards Middlesbrough will use a temporary stop outside the Town Hall. Passengers for Teesdale should walk from Thornaby Station or Stockton Town Centre. Buses to Middlesbrough will also omit the stop at Chandlers Wharf.
Arriva services X66 and X67Thursday 23 June (0900 – 2100):
• Buses will operate non-stop in both directions between Middlesbrough Bus Station and Stockton Town Centre. Passengers for Bon Lea, Thornaby Station and Chandlers Wharf should use shuttle service 36A.
