A magnificent restoration project, which combines a rich heritage with modern luxuries. Dating back to the 17th century, Grantley Hall is a Grade II* listed
building located in a beautiful parkland setting near Ripon, North Yorkshire. Lapicida was commissioned to supply natural stone, porcelain and ceramic tiles and to provide fabrication services for a range of opulent
marbles and limestones.

Lapicida worked closely with the developer to meet strict budget and time constraints. The project
comprises over 4,000 square metres of natural stone and marble, sourced from some of the world’s most renowned quarries. A truly breath-taking property, luxuriously finished to the most exacting standards.
Stunning marble and travertine feature walls sit alongside limestone flooring and cladding. Rare
bookmatched marble features in the bathrooms, with Brazilian Copper Dune quartzite and Onyx Miele in
the kitchen and bar areas.
Anouska Hempel designed this hotel with the twinkle and the magic of Venice peering through gloriously
laid marble and limestone floors based on a historical wellsite near the Rialto in Venice. Working closely with
Anouska Hempel Design, Lapicida made the stone floor as well as the stone furniture, fireplaces and mirrors found throughout the hotel. Each of the 35 bedrooms are decorated in tones of grey and flooded with natural light, many overlooking the
tranquil green of Egerton Gardens.
Lapicida’s exceptional quality control procedures secured the commission to provide natural stone for this private residence in the Caribbean. A beautiful cream marble from Lapicida features throughout,
adorning the walls and floors and even the cobbled roads. The custom-made baths and vanities are crafted from the same marble, as are the surrounds of the elegant swimming pool and
floating dining pavilion.
