A Guide to Accessing cape May county’s beaches and surf chairs for People with Disabilities
GENERAL GUIDELINESFOR SAFE SURF CHAIR USE• Use of the surf chair is restricted to those individuals weighing less than
three hundred (300) pounds• An attendant must be present when the chair is in use• The attendant must not undertake tasks which exceed his/her physical ability• At no time, and under no circumstances is the surf chair to be placed in
the water beyond a depth of six inches.

• surf chairs can be reserved for up to 2 weeks or can be used on a daily basis
• Failure to pick up the chair within 24 hours of the initial reservation date will result in the cancellation of your reservation
