UC San Diego Storm Water Monitoring Locations and Constituents Analyzed

Storm water runoff at UC San Diego is monitored at the following three locations:

1. Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Outfall 2, receiving water and sediment (see attached drawing)

2. Fleet Services located at the Campus Services Complex (see attached drawing)

3. Nimitz Marine Facility in Point Loma, SD1, SD2, SD3, and SD4 (see attached drawing)

The storm water runoff at each location is monitored for the constituents listed below. Scripps Institution of Oceanography Industrial Waste Water NPDES Permit #CA0107239 Constituent Frequency Oil and Grease Annually for Outfall 2 (storm water), semi-annual for receiving water,

sediment, and seawater outfalls Total Suspended Solids
