GCISD must provide a top-quality education. Fundamental academic skills and high
standards are essential to student success. Comprehensive planning is necessary for
direction and decision-making. All children are capable of learning. People are the key to educational
excellence. All people make contributions to our world. Parent involvement is essential to student
success. All members of the community are
necessary in the development of a child. GCISD will become a premier school system
in the country.
Mission and Vision
The mission of Grapevine Colleyville ISD is to be the BEST. We will promote good citizenship and prepare, motivate, and encourage each student to reach his or her full potential within a safe, caring, cooperative environment by providing an effective and enduring education.
Vision: The Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District inspires, encourages and empowers students to achieve their full potential in a global society.
An uncompromising commitment to achieve
specific measurable, observable, or
demonstrable results that exceed present
capability and ensure the accomplishment of
the mission.

Strategic Objectives
Strategic Objectives
All students will be positive participants in their local communities and our global society.
No less than once annually, all students will collaboratively develop, revise, and accomplish a rigorous personalized learning plan leading to college and career readiness and culminating with all graduates possessing a post-graduate plan aligned with their individual goals.
Strategic Objectives
Every student (PK-12) will responsibly and effectively use and apply the latest technology and, upon graduation, all students will be able to use technology masterfully in all dimensions of their academic work.
All members of the GCISD family will promote good citizenship and demonstrate mutual respect.
Strategies
Bold resolutions that
dedicate the organization’s
resources and
energies toward the
continuous creation
of systems to achieve the
extraordinary as
expressed in the mission and
objectives.
Strategies
We will purposefully hire, continually train, and hold accountable all GCISD staff to ensure the fulfillment of the GCISD mission and strategic objectives.
We will facilitate a process that carries out the development, implementation, and realization of a personal learning plan which includes goals in the areas of academics, campus activities, and workforce/community involvement for every student to accomplish the GCISD mission and strategic objectives.
We will transform from a teaching platform to a learning platform by designing engaging, differentiated, work for students toward the accomplishment of the GCISD mission and strategic objectives.
Strategies
We will create a plan that customizes communication methods and messages for students, parents, teachers, administration, and community to communicate and support the GCISD mission and strategic objectives.
We will practice thoughtful management of district resources and exland opportunities by establishing partnerships with our business community, non-profit, and civic organizations to secure scholarships, grants, endowments, and internships that support the GCISD mission and strategic objectives.
We will integrate technology, including student mobile wireless computing devices, into every aspect of the student academic experience to accomplish the GCISD mission and strategic objectives.
