biography
Jeff Coon
Art Director, Partner
Before establishing Stream Creative in June of 2006, Jeff spent 7 years in the advertising
industry, splitting time between two Milwaukee agencies – Advertising Art Studios (AAS) and
Boelter + Lincoln Marketing Communications.
While employed with AAS, Jeff produced designs for companies such as Pabst Brewing, ConAgra
Foods and the WELS. In addition to his design work, Jeff started AAS’ Interactive Department
along with coworker and now partner, Steve James. The newly instituted department allowed for
the development of several successful real estate web sites for Towne Realty.
After three and a half rewarding years at AAS, Jeff was fortunate to have the opportunity to
work for Boelter + Lincoln Marketing Communications. Beginning his tenure as a print designer
and eventually moving on to spearhead Boelter + Lincoln’s Interactive Department, Jeff worked
on a wide variety of design projects for clients such as The Wisconsin Department of Tourism,
The Milwaukee Mile, Port Washington State Bank, Wisconsin Dells Visitors and Convention Bureau
and The Wisconsin State Fair. Each account offered a variety of multimedia opportunities such as
web site design, online advertising, e-marketing and CD Rom development, as well as offline
opportunities such as logo design and print advertisements.
Looking for an opportunity to work directly with clients on diverse projects, Jeff decided to make
Stream Creative a full-time initiative. Blessed with several early opportunities, Jeff quickly found
the need to partner with Steve James and Brian Brinkman to form Stream Creative Design Group.
With their combined expertise, Jeff and Stream Creative are able to offer clients a wide range
of professional design services, helping to maintain brand consistency across a variety of
advertising mediums.
When not immersed in his work, Jeff likes to spend time with his wife, Connie and their two
children, Samuel and Grace. He and his family currently reside in Fond du Lac, WI.

biography
Steve James
Art Director, Partner
Before establishing Stream Creative, Steve spent 7 years in the advertising industry with
Milwaukee-based Advertising Art Studios (AAS). While employed with AAS, Steve produced
package designs for Miller Brewing, Brennans Market and Logret Import and Export, as well as
print materials for Bombardier and Pabst Brewing.
In addition to his design work, Steve started AAS’ Interactive Department along with coworker
and now partner, Jeff Coon. Steve was instrumental in the development of several successful web
sites and interactive projects for clients such as Towne Realty, Northwestern Mutual, and Medical
College of Wisconsin. Strong partnerships built with each account led to a variety of opportunities
including web site design, e-marketing and CD Rom development, as well as logo design and print
advertisements.
The opportunity to work one-on-one with clients on a wide range of advertising needs inspired
Steve to start Stream Creative. In response to his increased client base and wanting to be able
to offer personal attention to each of his clients, Steve teamed up with his University of
Wisconsin-Oshkosh classmates, Brian Brinkman and Jeff Coon, to form Stream Creative Design
Group. Together, they are able to offer their clients an expanded breadth of services while
maintaining exceptional customer service.
When not involved with efforts at Stream Creative, Steve likes to spend time with his wife, Amy
and their son, Aiden. He and his family currently reside in Oak Creek, WI.
