An exciting opportunity presents at Euroa Health for a success orientated, self motivated professional to take up the position of Community Engagement Coordinator.
The successful applicant will work closely with the CEO and Board facilitating positive community engagement and promotion of Euroa Health and its services. Key to this role will be the coordination of fundraising activities, identification and application of grants and other opportunities.
Euroa Health Inc. (EHI) is a Not for Profit organisation providing a range of acute medical, aged care, community and primary care services to people within the Euroa community and Strathbogie Local Government Area. Services include 17 acute care beds and 75 residential aged care beds.
EHI is embarking on a major and exciting redevelopment of its aged care services which will lead to further enhancement of services and a period of growth in health and aged care services for the community.
The successful applicant will meet the following Key Selection Criteria:
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing/communitydevelopmentorequivalent
• Understanding of rural and regional communities,issues and influences impacting on development and sustainability of those communities
• Demonstratedabilityto identify,engageanddevelopproductive and positive relationships with various community members, groups, organisations and other stakeholders
• Demonstratedsuccess in identifyingandapplicationforfunding/grantopportunities
• Demonstratedabilitytodevelopandmaintainpositiveprofessional networks to enhance services

• Provide pastoral care and guidance to students
• Operate within the school community and with external providers
The successful applicant must meet the NSCP minimum requirements• A Certificate IV in Youth Work or• A Certificate IV in Pastoral Care or• An equivalent qualification (as determined by
the State) that must include competencies in mental health and making appropriate referrals.
